Disney World has had a lot of restaurants open in the past year and a half.
Some are located in the Disney parks, some are over in Disney Springs, and others are spread around the various Disney World hotels. You may have lots of your friends or family recommending some of these newest restaurants to you for your next vacation, but which ones are actually worth your time and money? We’re ranking every single new restaurant that’s opened in Disney World from 2022 to now to help you decide.
7. Energy Bytes
Energy Bytes is one of the newest additions to Disney World. It’s located in Magic Kingdom right near TRON Lightcycle / Run and serves breakfast and snacks throughout the day.
So why is this last on our list? While we didn’t mind our bites here, there are a few unusual eats — like buffalo chicken dumplings and mochi ice cream bites — that won’t be everyone’s cup of tea.

6. Carousel Coffee
Carousel Coffee is located at Disney’s BoardWalk Inn. We love the roominess of this new coffee shop, and there are lots of options that will please picky eaters and kids.
So why is it so low? Well, everything we had here was very sweet, and since it’s located at the BoardWalk Inn, it’s a little out of the way for many guests not staying at the resort. We say give it a try if you’re in the area, but it’s not a must do.

5. BoardWalk Deli
Also over at the BoardWalk is the new BoardWalk Deli, which took the place of the BoardWalk Bakery.
While this is a reliable spot for a decent meal, it’s not anything super spectacular, especially for breakfast. Once again, if you’re close by and want something simple, we say go for it, but not if you’re looking for something unique.

4. Connections Cafe and Eatery
Heading over to EPCOT, the next restaurant on our list is the Connections Cafe and Eatery.
This spot has something that will please everyone with its wide variety of options, and some of the more adventurous choices are perfect for stretching outside of your comfort zone a little bit. The cons? Well, EPCOT has a LOT of good food, especially when there’s a festival. And since EPCOT pretty much always has a festival going on, we say it may be more worth your money to eat at the booths.

3. Roundup Rodeo BBQ
One of the biggest openings recently has been Roundup Rodeo BBQ!
Roundup Rodeo BBQ is a super fun meal that brings you inside Andy’s backyard and shrinks you down to the size of a toy. This is a table service meal that does cost a decent chunk of money, but it is served family-style, so it’s a LOT of food. If you don’t love barbeque or picnic-style meals, don’t want something heavy, or don’t want to spend an hour or two out of your park day eating, this won’t be the best fit for you. However, we really enjoyed our food, and hope you will too!

2. Rosa Mexicano
We’re heading back over to the hotels with Rosa Mexicano, another one of the newest restaurants in Disney World.
This is located at the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin, but it’s not a “Disney restaurant” as there are other locations all across the nation, which is part of the reason this isn’t at #1. We really loved the atmosphere and the friendliness of the staff, and the food was delicious too! It’s certainly not the cheapest food on property, but not the most expensive either. If you’re looking to have a relaxing meal after a busy park day and eat some delicious Mexican food, we recommend this spot.

1. Salt & Straw
That means Salt & Straw is at the top of our list!
Why does ice cream beat out actual meals? This isn’t just any ice cream. Salt & Straw introduces some seriously strange flavors every now and then, and somehow, they make them WORK! We can’t tell you how many times we’ve heard of a flavor and thought we’d hate it, and then are pleasantly surprised. While this isn’t a great pick for super picky eaters or people who want fancy sundaes, we’re constantly amazed at the different creations this shop cooks up, and you should give them a try.
