There is SO much going on in Disney World right now.
EPCOT is still in the middle of a massive transformation (which will include a new Moana-themed attraction). A new restaurant is being built in Disney Springs. Disney’s Boardwalk Inn has seen a lot of changes recently, too, including some room makeovers. Disney just posted a tour of one of these new rooms, so let’s take a look!
We previously got a first look at some of the renovations happening inside BoardWalk Inn, including new hallways and new carpet throughout the hotel. The new color scheme is very BoardWalk-like with teals and whites and touches of black.
That color scheme is also in the new rooms, which we also recently got a first look at with lots of teal and white accents.
Well, now Disney has released a video with a full tour of the new rooms at Disney’s BoardWalk Inn!
Here’s the full video.
@disneyparks 10/10 balcony.. 10/10 views.. 11/10 vibes ✨#Disney #DisneyParks #DisneyWorld #DisneyResorts #BoardWalkInn #BoardWalk #RoomTour
The beds have a teal and gold plaid headboard. The floors are hardwood.
There’s some adorable artwork of Mickey, Minnie, and Pluto on the walls with a very turn-of-the-century flair.
There’s a small mural above the coffee station featuring the hotel and Mickey and Minnie picnicking in front of it (yes, we LOVE THIS).
And of course, when you look out of the balcony, there’s a view of Crescent Lake.
The new rooms look so modern, but still manage to capture that BoardWalk vibe, don’t you think? Anyway, we’ll keep covering ALL Disney news, so stay tuned to DFB for more.

Will the DVC Villa side be receiving the same treatment? It’s on our WDW shortlist; great prices with points, even rental points, and such a great location.

My family and I just stayed in a couple of the new rooms at Boardwalk Inn. They were very nice! The staff was also very nice and helpful during our stay. We also made use of the boat transportation to EPCOT and Hollywood Studios.

Thank you for sharing the new Boardwalk room theme! We have a Boardwalk Villas DVC contract and can’t wait until they do that side.
Lynda Barnes says
I’m sorry the rooms look new and modern but I’m not feeling the same good vibe.
Richard Mercer says
The ragtime(?) piano in the Boardwalk section of the video is a bit much…..but I look forward to hearing the musical themes of other resorts!
For Beach Club it’s all too obvious — Beach Boys!! Maybe “Kokomo”…

They look sterile and cold to me. Not very inviting. We’ve been wanting to stay there, but this isn’t appealing enough to pay the high price.

they certainly aren’t plush or upscale like they use to be, for what Disney is charging I expect better. This is on par with any standard hotel down the road.

My last hospital room had more character! The trend to minimalism is very disappointing!

We just stayed in one of the new rooms. We thought they were adorable! They were set up so nice with side tables on each side of the bed, an arm chair in the corner, and a couch that turned into a fifth sleeper. We had to hide the decorative pillows, cuz kids, but there was enough room in the closets to do that. We’ll definitely be back to this hotel!

I agree that the Boardwalk Inn rooms were due for a refresh, but this new look is rather sterile. There was absolutely nothing wrong with the Grandma’s spare bedroom look of the old décor. The old design was fitting for the early 20th Century Atlantic City beach theme. They should have refreshed what they had before. I know the Villas side is due for a refresh also. This is where we usually stay. I hope that the Boardwalk theme is preserved in the Villas. The Boardwalk will always be our #1 preferred WDW hotel. The location can’t be beat. Anyone remember “The Amazing John, and the Boardwalk Buskers?” Their show, twice per night, was a laugh a minute. Puns galore. I remember going to see them with my Dad and we would both laugh at the same jokes, each show. That was all part of the schtick for us. Great times, great memories.

I do like the new artwork in the Boardwalk Inn rooms.

They are are getting the “ sterile”
Look to them, little touches of Disney but look like any other hotel rooms now it sad.
Like the new Polynesian tower very meh 🫤 so sad it was very unique would have rather them keep the luau. But if you can pack in more people and get more $$$ that’s the new Disney way .
