If you don’t do your research ahead of time, unexpected problems can complicate your Disney World vacation!
You’ll want to check the online calendar for ride refurbishments, plan out your dining reservations, and make sure you download the My Disney Experience app. But sometimes, even with all that preparation, there are some things that’ll surprise you. And if you’re visiting this week, we’re here to issue a warning!
According to the Disney World website, the Monorail will have a delayed opening on the morning of Friday, July 14th. Disney expects that all Monorail transportation will be available by 10AM.
Bus transportation will be available while the Monorail is not operating, which will be helpful for those traveling from Magic Kingdom area resorts to EPCOT. If you’re driving to Magic Kingdom and trying to get from the Transportation & Ticket Center (the parking lot) to the park, you can take the ferryboat instead.
We’ll make sure to share more details on this situation if it causes any problems at Magic Kingdom or EPCOT in the morning, so stay tuned to DFB. You may want to budget extra time to get to the parks if you’re visiting tomorrow.
