Everyone has their picks for the ideal places to go when you’ve got to “go,” but we’re here to reintroduce you to a familiar option.
With so much going on in Frontierland near the upcoming Tiana’s Bayou Adventure attraction, it can be hard to navigate all of the construction to see exactly what is still open and what’s closed. We recently said goodbye to the pressed penny machines that held the last remnants of Splash Mountain in that same area. Listen, we recognize that there’s a preference as to which bathrooms are the best to visit in Disney World, and we’re here to tell you about some bathrooms we think you need to consider adding to your list.
There is a set of restrooms in Frontierland that you may have forgotten about since all the new construction came to the area.
Since the closure of Splash Mountain and the subsequent transformation into Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, the whole back queue area has been a mess. With so many walls around, it’s hard to tell that anything back that way is open. When the ride was in operation, the Frontierland bathrooms were almost always pretty busy!
We figure that was mostly because the ride was capable of completely soaking you, so the nearby bathrooms were a great location to dry off. This came with its downfall, too, though, because that meant that EVERYONE also considered it a good place to get out of the way and get changed, so this spot was generally busy all day long. Since the ride has closed, the construction seems to keep most of the crowds away, making these restrooms a great, hidden spot.
We’ve found that they’ve remained very clean, freshly scented, and well-kept for the past few months since the closure because most people aren’t walking back here to visit them. We’re not totally sure if everyone thinks they’re closed with all the other construction or just don’t know that they exist, but either way, we think this is one bathroom stop that’s worth taking your chances on!

None! WDW needs accessible adult changing tables in at least one bathroom in the back if each park.
Margaret H. says
The bathrooms should have higher toilet Seats for older visitors who can not get off the low seats without help.

I spent a long time in the Frontier bathrooms in Oct. I’ll spare the details, but the stalls are very private.
