New restaurants are coming to Disney World, and we couldn’t be more excited.
We recently found out that Blue Ribbon Corndogs, home to the famous Pickle Corn Dog in Disneyland, will be headed to Disney’s BoardWalk, along with The Cake Bake Shop by Gwendolyn Rogers. Summer House at the Lake is coming to Disney Springs. And, ANOTHER new restaurant is coming to Disney Springs, and this one is owned by a celebrity chef!
That restaurant is EET by Manett Chauhan, which will be led by Maneet Chauhan, an acclaimed James Beard Award-winning chef and Food Network Star, and Vivek Deora, an international hospitality entrepreneur. What we know so far is that the menu will offer a “modern, fun Indian-inspired concept.”
But what might the menu look like? Well, we can get an idea by looking at the OTHER restaurant Chauhan owns, which is in Nashville, TN. That restaurant is Chauhan Ale & Masala House, which was inspired by the celebrity chef’s “zest for travel and affection for Southern cuisine.” The concept is “combining Indian fare with traditional Southern dishes.”
If we want to get an idea of what the Disney Springs restaurant menu might look like, we’re going to take a look at the Nashville menu. Looking at appetizers, we have some dishes that feature classic Indian flavors, like Whipped Paneer with roasted coriander, honey, chives, and fresh baked naan. By the way, in case you didn’t know it, paneer is a type of CHEESE, and we are ALREADY drooling over the idea of getting a chance to try this.
There’s also an interesting Indian twist put on poutine with the Tandoori Chicken Poutine, made with tandoori chicken, makhani sauce, cheese curds, and masala fries.
Other appetizers also mix Southern cuisine with Indian fare, including Nashville Hot Chicken Pakoras (Chicken, chow chow, ghost pepper aioli, and raita ranch) and the Desi Walking Taco (Kurkure, vindaloo pork keema, quesco fresco, kachumber, and tamarind chutney). Appetizer prices range in price from $12 to $20 at the Nashville location.
Now let’s take a look at the Entrees. The food here is also similar, although it leans more towards classic Indian food than Southern food (although some items do have a Southern twist). There’s the Tournament Of Champions Thali with 16oz tandoor roasted ribeye, saag mac & cheese, veg, daal, and garlic achaar.
There’s also a Braised Pork Shank.
Can you say YUM? Other entrees include Tamarind Lamb Chops (tamarind, cumin, honey, and black pepper), classic Indian Tandoori Chicken (methi, chili powder, cumin, and lemon), and Tandoori Chicken Kababs. Cumin is a spice used in a lot of these dishes, so we’re expecting to see some cumin-filled dishes at the new Disney Springs location, too. Entree prices range from $19 to $68 at the Chauhan Ale & Masala House restaurant.
A variety of sides are also available, including an Indian take on that southern classic, Mac ‘n’ Cheese. The Saag Mac n Cheese is made with chili-spiced cheddar, fenugreek, and masala bread crumbs. Sides range in price from $8 to $12.
There’s also a whole section of the menu for Breads, and we REALLY hope these make their way to Disney Springs because we love some Naan. More importantly, we think the Short Rib French Onion Naan sounds so unique and amazing!
There’s also a Garlic Parmesan Naan, Chili Cheese Kulcha, Whole Wheat Tandoori Roti, and more. Breads range in price from $4 to $10 at the Nashville location.
However, if you’ve got picky eaters, you can also get some standard fare like French Fries and Rice. You can also add Chutney, Green Chilis, and more to your meal for $3 to $5.
For dessert, we see some very unique treats, like a Mango Icebox Cake and the decadent Chauhan Chocolate Cake, made with layered chocolate cake, garam masala spiced ganache, spiced apricot coolie, white chocolate crisps, shakar paras, and gold leaf. There’s also a traditional Gulab Jamun, an Indian dessert of fried balls of dough made from milk and semolina that are soaked in a syrup flavored with cloves, rose water, saffron, and cardamon. You can also get a Cheesecake with similar flavors. Dessert prices range from $5 to $14.
Okay, let’s look at some of the drinks available at the Nashville location, which could be an indicator of what we’ll see in Disney Springs. There are standard cocktails offered with the restaurant’s signature twist, like a Taj Mule with fords gin, blood orange, thai basil, and ginger. Then there’s the Bartenders Handshake, made with diplomatico rum, amaro montenegro, and angostura.
Other signature cocktails have similar flavors, including a Rose All Day with pinot noir, belvedere pear ginger, cocchi vermouth, and cranberry bitters. Signature cocktails range in price from $14 to $20. In addition to cocktails, you’ll also find a variety of beverages in bottles and cans, as well as a good selection of red, white, and sparkling wines from around the world.
So what does this tell us about the Disney Springs restaurant? Well, although Disney has not yet released any details about the food coming to EET by Maneet Chahoun, we can look at these menus to get an idea of what might be on the menu in Disney Springs.
It’s certainly different from anything any other restaurants in Disney Springs are doing, and it seems like EET by Maneet Chahoun will offer some NEW flavors to the shopping and dining district.
However, we won’t know for sure until Disney reveals more details, but we’ll be sure to share those as soon as they come in, so stay tuned to DFB for more.

Sounds lovely but very expensive for Indian food. Might try making the Tandoori Chicken Poutine myself.
