Can you even HANDLE your excitement?? The EPCOT Food & Wine Festival is almost here and we cannot WAIT to revisit some of our favorite eats.
A few popular snacks are returning to the festival in 2023, like the Pão de Queijo at the Brazil booth, the Canadian Cheddar and Bacon Soup at the Canada booth, and the Beignet aux Trois Fromages at the France booth. So which fan-favorite eats and treats are we MISSING in 2023? Make sure to check out this list, because some of your favorite items might not be at this year’s festival, and you don’t want to be disappointed when you arrive!
We finally got the full menus for all the food booths at this year’s Food & Wine Festival a little while ago, and we were happy to see that most of the things that we loved in 2022 are returning in 2023. But what’s missing? Let’s dig in.
The Entire Mac & Eats Food Booth
This booth will not return in 2023, and we’re pretty sad about it.
We really enjoyed some of the Mac & Cheese combos available here. Goodbye, Cowboy Macaroni & Cheese with Smoked Pork Belly, Brisket Burnt Ends, Pickled Peppers, and Onion Straws.
The Entire Earth Eats Food Booth
Earth Eats served up plant-based eats last year, and we really loved a couple of the snacks! The Impossible Meatballs in particular were one of our favorite items. They were served with herbed polenta, a rustic puttanesca sauce, and basil pesto.
There are still several plant-based items at the 2023 festival, but they’re just not all together at one booth (to find them, check out our booths and menus page and look for items that say “plant-based” in parenthesis after the item name).
Mini Pina Colada Funnel Cake at Funnel Cake Stand
The Funnel Cake Stand debuts a new flavor every festival, so we’re not surprised to see the Mini Piña Colada Funnel Cake leave the menu, but we’ll still miss it.
In 2023, there will be a Candied Bacon Funnel Cake instead!
Gnocchi di Patate with Mushrooms from Italy
The Italy booth did. not. miss. in 2022. We especially loved the Gnocchi di Patate! Unfortunately, these won’t be on the menu in 2023.
Instead, this booth will have a bunch of new dishes, including Focaccia Ripiena, Cavatelli with Sweet Sausage Ragout and Crispy Applewood-Smoked Bacon, and Lemon Ricotta Cheesecake.
Mocha Madness at Joffrey’s Coffee: The American Adventure
Like the Funnel Cake Stand, the Joffrey’s locations in EPCOT change out their festival offerings each year. We really liked the Mocha Madness drink from 2022, but it won’t return in 2023.
Here’s a look at the Joffrey’s drinks available in 2023:
The American Adventure
- Nutty Caramel Mocha Cold Brew: A Sweet Blend of Caramel Mudslide Cold Brew, Caramel Syrup, Peanut Butter Syrup and Chocolate Syrup topped with Whipped Cream and Caramel Sauce (NEW)
- Spirited version available with Carolans Peanut Butter Irish Cream Liqueur
Near Disney Traders
- Java Horchata: A Sweet Blend of Espresso and Horchata topped with Whipped Cream and Cinnamon (NEW)
- Spirited version available with Grey Goose Vodka and Kahlúa Liqueur
Near Canada
- Frozen Roseberry: A Refreshing Blend of Frozen Lemon and Strawberry-Rose Syrup (NEW)
- Spirited version available with Grey Goose Vodka
Near Mission: Space
- Amaretto Iced Tea: A Sweet and Nutty Blend of Black Iced Tea and Amaretto Syrup (NEW)
- Spirited version available with Citrónge Orange Liqueur
Baked Scampi Dip at Coastal Eats
The Baked Scampi Dip was a super delicious snack, but it’s not on Coastal Eats’ menu for 2023.
This spot will still serve Lump Crab Cake with Aïoli and Vinegar Slaw and Oysters Rockefeller, though!
The Appleseed Orchard Food Booth
Appleseed Orchard was a booth in the Canada pavilion, located back in the Canada Far and Wide movie theater. This booth served autumn flavors like an Apple Crumble Tart, as well as ciders and beers.
We’re sad this booth is not returning, but at least that means that Canada Far and Wide won’t have to close during the festival!
The Swanky Saucy Swine Food Booth
Lots of food booths are disappearing in 2023! This booth had some adventurous eats, including Crispy Barbecued Pork Rinds and Sticky Ribs, but it’s not coming back in 2023.
It’s not all bad news, though! There are lots of NEW things coming in 2023, including four brand-new food booths.

Janet C. says
The mini funnel cakes they have at the fests were initially great but have in recent years become too large with low-quality toppings. They’re just messy mountains of sticky junk. I’d love for them to lower the price and bring back the really petite ones with quality toppings like mixed berries and others that’re simpler, less sweet, and thoughtfully prepared. It’s not special to throw on candies and sauces anyone can buy at Publix and not easy at EPCOT to manage a big funnel cake smothered in all that.
Heidi Sweeney says
Do you know if you can get the Joffrey’s in Decaf?
Richard Mercer says
No need to apologize…
Everyone knows that bad news sells more papers than good news!
DFB Gigi says
Hi Heidi, their menu doesn’t list any decaf options, but you can always ask.
