Sure, you may see some overlap in attractions between Disney World, Disneyland, and the other Disney parks around the world, but ultimately, every Disney park has its own unique identity! If you’re like us and you’re a tinnnnny bit obsessed with Disney, you may have dreams of visiting every Disney park someday!
Plus, between all the new and upcoming projects around the world, we’ve got about a million reasons to book a flight to Paris, Hong Kong, and even Tokyo! But now Disney shared a HUGE update on the status of one exciting project, and we can’t WAIT to see how it turns out!
Disneyland Paris is designing a restaurant inspired by Coco, and it’s safe to say we are PUMPED for this to open.
Over in Frontierland, Imagineers are redesigning the Fuente Del Oro Mexican-themed restaurant into Casa de Coco — Restaurante de Familia. Disney explained that the new restaurant will focus on “Miguel’s passion for music and love for his family.”
We’ve previously shared a look at some of the behind-the-scenes details coming to Casa de Coco, including a look at the beautifully-created props and different rooms in the restaurant.
In fact, Disney shared that Imagineers are creating over 50 special props for the restaurant, including Miguel’s guitar, the tools used to make those signature Rivera shoes, and more!

Disney revealed that guests may hear some familiar music inside the restaurant ranging from traditional Mexican songs to “Remember Me.” Inside, look out for tons of little details that you may recognize from the movie! Disney explained that you may see “Traditional woven fabrics, shoemaker’s tools, and shoe boxes featuring the family brand” throughout the restaurant.
Over in the la Sala de Música dining room, guests can see Héctor’s guitar, plus you can even read notes from pages of his diary!
