We’re constantly looking for ways to save money at Disney World!
We keep up with the latest discounts and ticket deals, all the big merchandise sales, and of course, any freebies that we can score in the parks. And now, if you’re a Florida resident, there’s a NEW way to save!
Disney World has announced a NEW ticket option that is available for purchase as of August 1st. The new Disney 2-Park Explorer Ticket is a 2-day ticket that allows access for Florida residents to Animal Kingdom and EPCOT only.
The ticket cost is $159 plus tax and it’s valid from August 1st through September 29th, 2023. The ticket can be used on consecutive or non-consecutive days, depending on your needs. You get one admission to Animal Kingdom and one to EPCOT with this ticket, and there’s a limit of one park per day (so it’s NOT a Park Hopper).
If you’d like to add a little bonus to your ticket, you can get the Water Park and Sports Option added on for $35 per ticket. This allows you to visit EPCOT and Animal Kingdom on two separate days with park reservations, and then to “visit a Disney water park, golf course, or miniature golf course on 2 additional days (or enjoy them on the same day that you visit a Disney theme park).”
All tickets and options expire on September 29th, 2023, and tickets are nontransferable and nonrefundable. Guests will need to show proof of residency at the park entrance when they use the ticket. Disney Park Pass reservations are still required with this particular ticket to enter the parks.
So if you’re looking for a way to get a little park time in, make sure to check out this special ticket offer! We’ll keep you in the loop if any other ticket deals are announced, so stay tuned to DFB.

That’s great if you live in Florida, but will there be something for us non residents ?

I don’t understand why discounts are always available for Florida residents? They live there and their cost of travel is minimal. Offer the discounts to people traveling from far away that need to spend a lot more money on airfare.

If you’re a FL resident and want more than 2 days (or want to visit more than Epcot and AK), the Summer Magic ticket is available still as well. Valid now through Sep 29th minus Labor Day weekend.
$209 for 3 days, $229 for 4 days
