The single-rider line is typically where we go for some peace, quiet, and a break from those super long waits.
Typically, the single-rider line moves much more quickly than the regular stand-by line, as there aren’t nearly as many solo park visitors in most lines as there are groups of visitors. Some rides with notoriously long lines have implemented a single-rider line to help loading be much more efficient. Generally, this line can drastically decrease your wait time. But, well, there’s one single-rider line at Disney World that we think is truly cursed and is a total scam. (Not really. We’re just being dramatic. It’s just a really long line.)
Yep, we’re here to talk about the single-rider line at Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster in Disney’s Hollywood Studios. This line is seriously LONG, all the time.
Typically, it posts the same wait as the stand-by line. If it’s not posting the same wait, it’s pretty darn close.
At this point, you might as well just stand in the regular line. You’ll get on the ride around the same time, anyway.
Of course, there might occasionally be a exception to this. Just make sure to check wait times before you get in line, or talk to the Cast Member.

I agree the single rider lines are long on Rock N Roller Coaster but that is because a lot of people go on it in even numbers and they need to fill single riders in the odd seats. But when I am a single rider I love going in single rider line because even when it is long you are under cover. The main line has you outside with NO cover. So that is a pro in my book. Thank you for all you do!
