There’s nothing like ending your perfect Magic Kingdom day with fireworks.
But, chances are we’ve all struggled to find the absolute best spot to watch them. The hub right in front of the castle fills up quickly, Main Street, U.S.A. is packed, and it might feel like you don’t really have any good options. If you’re looking for a somewhat secluded spot to watch Magic Kingdom fireworks, we think we might know just the place!
Over in Magic Kingdom’s Liberty Square, Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe is where you want to be if you’re looking for all things holidays — year round! But, it’s also where you’ll find one of our favorite secret spots to watch fireworks! You see, there’s a small courtyard just outside Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe. But, it’s not just any old courtyard, because it’s home to…
…Santa’s sleigh! That’s right — you can actually pop a squat inside the man with the bag’s ride. And the best part? You can actually see the Magic Kingdom fireworks from here if you look over to your right when sitting in the sleigh! Of course, you won’t get to see a majority of the projections on the castle or the ones down Main Street, but if you’re just after a good fireworks viewing spot that’s potentially away from all the hubbub, this might be it!
In addition to the sleigh, there’s also a small table with four chairs in this area, so there’s a little bit more seating — but not much. Keep in mind that this isn’t a large area, so it’s quite possible that it may be taken when you go to watch fireworks here, but it’s something to keep in mind.
As for the view, here’s what you’ll be able to see! There’s a partially obstructed view of the left side of the castle, but you’re still able to see a bit of the front as well as the stage. Again, not the best spot if you’re committed to seeing all the projections — but we’ll take it!

Tom Welsh says
Our favorite place from which to watch the fireworks is our balcony high on Bay Lake Tower facing the Magic Kingdom. There’s only chairs for the 2 of us, with audio coming from the TV speakers in the room. What’s best, is when the show is over, there are no crowds with which to contend. We gently close the door and go to bed.
