The time has finally arrived!
Halloween merchandise is available, NEW Halloween snacks have dropped in Magic Kingdom, and even pumpkin coffee is back in Disney World — that’s right, it’s basically FALL! And with “fall” in Disney World comes the return of Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. During the party, you’ll actually find some EXCLUSIVE snacks and right now we’re interrupting your busy day to give you alllll the details about 2 of them.
Again, as a quick reminder, these two snacks are EXCLUSIVE to Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, meaning you’ll only find them during party hours. For those not familiar with it, Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is a seasonal Magic Kingdom event requiring a separate ticket for entry. In 2023, the event will take place on select nights from August 11th through November 1st.

Now, let’s talk about the treats! You’ll find them at the Churro Cart near Cinderella Castle and can grab them both for $11.50.
First up we have the Jack Pop (as in Jack Skellington!). This is a NEW snack made of a chocolate fudge brownie with marshmallow filling and topped with a Jack chocolate piece.
While this looks really cute, we weren’t super impressed. They come out cold, but the cake is still soft, and it reminds us of German chocolate cake. Unfortunately, the cake was pretty dry, so that wasn’t very enjoyable.
Next up is the Sally Pop. This is also NEW and is made of a yellow cake with raspberry filling topped with a Sally chocolate piece.
This cake was also dry, and the black frosting that keeps the chocolate Sally piece on BADLY stains your teeth and hands. While we enjoyed the flavor of the cake, we would have liked to have more of that raspberry filling — it cut through the sweetness of the cake well but there just wasn’t enough of it.
If you’re a fan of Nightmare Before Christmas, these may be fun to grab, but we don’t necessarily think they’re worth the price. We’d take that $12 and spend it elsewhere!
But wait…there’s more where that came from! Click here to check out ALL of the treats available at the party.
