We’ve been trying lots of spooky snacks at Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, but we’re not about to stop now. It’s time for DESSERT!
The Halloween party of the year has OFFICIALLY begun in Magic Kingdom, bringing an exclusive “Boo to You” parade, themed fireworks, and more to the park for the occasion. Come with us now to try a couple of exclusive desserts at Main Street Plaza Ice Cream Parlor!
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is a seasonal Magic Kingdom event requiring a separate ticket for entry. In 2023, the event will take place on select nights from August 11th through November 1st. Although there are some Halloween treats available all day long in Magic Kingdom, others only come out for the party.

Right now, we’re heading to Main Street Plaza Ice Cream Parlor to try out the Apple Fritter Sundae and Ice Cream Cookie Sandwich!
The Apple Fritter Sundae features apple fritters topped with your choice of ice cream, whipped cream, and sprinkles and costs $8.29. We chose to get pumpkin ice cream as our flavor to stick with the fall theme of the treat.
Need a cool treat? Here’s the Apple Fritter sundae (sensing a theme this year?)! It’s Apple fritters topped with ice cream, whipped cream, and sprinkles! Simple!

The ice cream was thick and creamy and had a nice pumpkin flavor. The apple fritters on top are a decent size and have a nice apple pie-spiced flavor to add to the treat. You get two huge scoops of ice cream on this sundae making it easily sharable. The caramel sauce on top was very sweet and we think it might be too sweet for some.
If you love apple flavor or are in a big group, this might be for you. It does melt fast in the Florida heat though so you’ll want to eat up fast.
Next, we tried the Ice Cream Cookie Sandwich is two cookies topped with sprinkles with your choice of ice cream in the middle, and it costs $7.29. For this item, we chose cookies ‘n’ cream ice cream. Again, the ice cream was smooth and creamy and had a great flavor.
The downfall of this treat was the chocolate cookies. Unfortunately, these were HARD to bite and chew. They also were bland and only really help provide structure to the sandwich. We really recommend skipping this one and grabbing one of the other sweet treats at the party instead.
There’s more where that treat came from, though! Make sure to check out ALL of the treats available at the party before you go.

Don’t want to pay extra for treats at Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party? Don’t worry — you can skip the restaurants and just trick-or-treat around the park instead. The candy is your typical Halloween goodies, but hey — it’s all sugar, right?
