Disney World is home to a seemingly endless list of rides and attractions.Â
Many of these are considered icons — with theming and thrills that cause the ride to land on the no-skips list. However, there are a few Disney World rides that always seem to land on the MUST-skip list for many visitors. We asked our readers to share with us the rides that were a one-and-done experience for them — the rides they will NEVER ride again. Some of the answers weren’t at all surprising, while others surprised us for sure. Let’s talk about it!
This post highlights the top 4 most popular answers that our readers gave us for one-and-done rides at Disney World. Buckle up, grab your barf bags, and let’s go.Â
Mission: SPACE
So, this one didn’t really surprise us at all. Located in World Discovery in EPCOT, this experience allows you to “blast off” to space and complete a mission — but in many cases, the only “mission” involved is trying not to throw up.
If you get motion sick on this ride, you’re with the vast majority. They actually have barf bags readily available within the attraction because of how often it happens. Yikes!
Na’vi River Journey
Na’vi River Journey is located in Pandora in Disney’s Animal Kingdom. This scenic boat ride takes you through a river in a forest of Pandora. It’s really beautiful, but a lot of folks find it really boring after the first time. Plus, the line is always super long for what it is.
If you’re willing to wait an hour in line for nap time, then this could be a great ride for you. On the other hand, you can probably experience most of what Pandora has to offer by walking through the land as well as experiencing Avatar: Flight of Passage, which is considerably more fun for many visitors.
Kali River Rapids
Also located in Disney’s Animal Kingdom, Kali River Rapids is another ride that draws guests in — and then leaves them a bit disappointed. This raft ride takes you through a white water adventure through a jungle in Asia.
This ride is super appealing in theory, but leaves guests SOAKED. The unprepared guest wearing denim probably won’t enjoy this ride a whole lot. However, for those who wore waterproof shoes and ponchos, it’s a pretty fun ride!
Space Mountain
Space Mountain in Magic Kingdom at Disney World is known as a park icon to many. This is why we were a little bit surprised to find out that a lot of our readers don’t enjoy this ride. However, we totally understand why they don’t like it.
It’s in need of a bit of a refurbishment, for one. It’s pretty bumpy, and personally, it’s hard to ride it without having a few back and neck pops along the ride. It’s also hard to sit down in the trains. If you have long legs, it might be pretty difficult for you unless you sit in the very back.
What do you think? Do you usually ride these rides or skip them? We love getting our readers involved in the posts we write, so be on the lookout for more opportunities to share your thoughts with us! Make sure to follow along so that you’re always in the loop.

You are right on the money with these 4.. I agree. I spent 3 hours on the lawn out front after a voyage on Mission Space. Never again.

My husband and kids convinced me to ride Mission: Space (green) despite the fact that I do experience motion sickness in some cases. They thought I could handle it. Yeah, no. I didn’t puke but definitely felt it. It didn’t help that I got stuck in the seat because the harness wouldn’t release. One and done for me.
I like Na’vi River Journey. It is relaxing. Kali River Rapids is fine. Space Mountain works better for me if I sit in the front. Sitting in the back makes me queasy.

Do not agree at all with space mountain. Kids and I love the bumpy ride as it makes it seem faster than it really. We actually fight over sitting in the back as it really whips around!!
