Buckle up folks — a major event is coming to Disney World this September and we just got some huge details!
Destination D23 will be taking place at Disney’s Contemporary Resort from September 8th through the 10th, 2023 and it could bring some MAJOR updates. The event is typically full of presentations that feature details about important upcoming Disney projects. In 2021, it was at Destination D23 that we learned updates about Fantasmic!’s return to Disney World, the Finding Nemo musical at Animal Kingdom, and more. The 2023 Destination D23 event has already sold out (though some will be livestreamed!) and now we’ve got a big update!

- 4:20PM — EPCOT: Always in a State of Becoming (A look into the design and ideas behind the transformation of EPCOT and its new neighborhoods, attractions, and experiences. Explore the legacy of the park and discover more about the collaboration between Walt Disney Imagineering and Walt Disney World Resort throughout this ambitious process. Highlights include details uncovered by the Marty Sklar Archives and the inspirations that have guided the evolution of Disney’s first park without a castle.)

I’m very Disappointed in Destination D23.
Just like in 2021, it was a bunch of history lesson fan events. But no big news like at D23 Expo.
I was extremely underwhelmed in 2021 and had total buyers remorse. This looks like more of the same.
