The Disney Treasure is set to set sail on her maiden voyage on December 21st, 2024.
Aboard the Treasure, you’ll find ALL SORTS of family-friendly entertainment options, from the AquaMouse to three theatrical performances that you can catch throughout your cruise. One thing that our team is super excited about, though, are the LOUNGES. What could be more relaxing than a fun bevi aboard a magical cruise? Well, an all-new lounge experience will be aboard the Disney Treasure, and we think you guys might be just as excited as we are regarding this new addition.
Planning a Disney Cruise? We’re here to help! From packing tips to insider secrets, we know ALL the secrets to help you have a successful vacation. Now, see what kind of lounges we may encounter!
Disney announced that Skipper Society would debut aboard the Disney Treasure as the FIRST Jungle Cruise-themed bar and lounge on a cruise ship. This punny lounge will be located just off the grand hall aboard the ship. We’re SO excited to grab drinks here just by looking at the artists’ rendering of the space. As you can see, the lounge is definitely Skipper-approved.
You’ll be able to grab a variety of drinks and small plates, all served by Cast Members who truly take on the role of a Skipper to provide you with some comical entertainment. Disney said that the culinary team is currently working on developing a menu for the space.
Skipper Society will feature low-hanging canvas ceilings, which help the lounge feel more intimate. This is absolutely on purpose, as Disney said that this lounge is meant to serve as an “intimate gathering space with music, comical banter, and really good drinks.”
Wow! We can’t WAIT to check out this new lounge. If you’re a fan of the Jungle Cruise attraction, we have a feeling you might already be wanting to book a cruise aboard the Disney Treasure. If that’s the case, booking opens on September 20th, 2023, and if you’re a member of Disney Cruise Line’s Castaway Club, you’ll be able to book as early as September 12th.

I wish the Skipper Lounge was themed to be an Adventurers’ Club. Kungaloosh! But Jungle Cruise theming is certainly great. All agree, I am sure, unless you are in de-Nile.

I would love for Disney to bring back the Adventurers Club!! My parents would bring me with them and I loved it as a kid! I grew up going there.
