Destination D23 is the ultimate Disney fan’s dream convention, where you hear from some of the top leaders in the company. It’s a three-day-long celebration of Disney, and there are usually some pretty big announcements made. Now we’ve heard some exciting news for all you huge Disney fans!
If you love Disney, you’ve probably heard of Disney’s ultimate fan club, D23. D23 stands for “Disney,” and 1923 was the year the company was founded.

D23 offers two membership types: a free basic membership and a Gold membership that is paid for annually. If you pay for the Gold membership, you can get in on exclusive membership discounts and offers at several participating locations, usually in or around a Disney Park.

I am a D23 Gold member and have been for 5 yrs. Sometimes I am not sure why I continue to be a Gold member. I did not receive anything about discounts from them and only saw your info after it was too late to use the discount. I had just purchased items from Shop Disney, so I am really frustrated about not getting the discount. Also, I always seem to find out about the D23 conventions, etc. too late to attend. I did attend the one in Anaheim in 2019 and enjoyed it very much. As a stranger to the D23 events, it was a real eye opener. I met a lot of interesting people who were Disney fanatics even more so than I am. I wanted to come to the one just held at WDW, but by the time I learned about it, it was all sold out!!! Again, very frustrating. I know I should be complaining to THEM and not on this website, but I really trying to thank you for posting about the discount.
