We’re still in the midst of celebrating The Walt Disney Company’s 100th anniversary, and the party isn’t slowing down anytime soon.

From exclusive eats and drinks in the parks to merchandise, movies, and more — Disney has pulled out all the stops for this epic event. As part of the celebration, Disney will be releasing a new short film, and we got the chance to preview it at Destination D23!
Disney showed a preview of the new Once Upon a Studio short that will play before the new Wish movie at Destination D23. We were asked not to take any photos or film the preview, but we can tell you about it!

The short celebrates the last 100 years of The Walt Disney Company, and of course, it all kicks off with Mickey and Minnie. In the short, Mickey brings a group of Disney character legends together for a group photo — by actually jumping out of the photo!

You’ll see both old and new characters represented — from Bambi to Zootopia. Iconic Disney composer, Richard Sherman, plays “Feed the Birds” on the piano in the short, which was one of Walt Disney’s favorite songs.
After the short ended, the crowd rose for a standing ovation. Forty Disney voice actors came together to take part in this incredible testament to Walt Disney Animation, and we think you’re really going to love it.

I heard about a new Disney short upcoming to celebrate the 100th anniversary. I heard it will have almost every Disney character. I saw a leaked concept art of Genie talking to Olaf. It looked exciting! If Anna & Elsa end up being in it, which I’m sure they will, I really hope they’ll be in their Frozen 1 outfits and braided hairstyles. I’m glad that Disney has been mostly marketing Frozen 1 for the 100th celebration, so I’d like to see them again in their Frozen 1 looks for more Disney projects. The Frozen 1 dresses are so iconic and the best looks for the sisters. Same with the iconic braids. I really miss those 😓. We haven’t seen Anna & Elsa in their Frozen 1 outfits since the first movie and a little bit in Frozen Fever, which was 8 years ago 😢 I hope we see Anna & Elsa in their Frozen 1 outfits and braided hairstyles again for this upcoming short and for Frozen 3 and other future Disney/Frozen related projects
