The new Disney Treasure cruise ship will have several different options for luxurious staterooms, but the FANCIEST room on board has to be the Tomorrow Tower Suite, which is themed after EPCOT!
This suite is meant to “capture the same forward-thinking mindset” that inspired the park, especially the World Discovery neighborhood (which is the one that has Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, Test Track, and Mission: SPACE). Now, Disney has revealed an awesome new detail about this room!
Disney shared recently that there will be hidden FIGMENTS throughout the Tomorrow Tower Suite! You’ve seen hidden Mickeys, but we can’t wait to look for the adorable purple dragon throughout the suite.
Specifically, Disney said that “guests will encounter Figment posing in various hiding places” within the Tomorrow Tower Suite.
It was also announced that there will be a special sculpture at the base of the suite’s spiral staircase “that honors the iconic EPCOT landmark, Spaceship Earth.” Disney said that “the sculpture will bring the spirit of EPCOT to life when guests enter the suite through music and lighting effects.”
Disney will also use “dynamic art pieces, molten metal accents and futuristic, colorful glass accents” to bring the EPCOT theme to life.
Of course, one of the best perks of staying in this suite is the VIEWS! The rooms overlook the top deck of the ship (they’re located inside the ship’s forward funnel!) and present an opportunity for guests to “glimpse the open horizon through an expansive two-story window.”
The suite is almost 2,000 square feet and comfortably sleeps eight guests. It has a full kitchen and its own private ensuite elevator.
Of course, the Tomorrow Tower Suite is just one of LOTS of amazing features on the Disney Treasure… and we’ll be right here happily sharing them all with you, so thanks for sticking with us. We’ll — ahem — SEA you real soon!
Bookings for the Treasure open on September 20th, 2023, and if you’re a member of Disney Cruise Line’s Castaway Club, you’ll be able to book as early as September 12th.
