Staying at a Disney hotel can be just as fun as going to the parks.
Disney properties are full of theming and perks that make the experience, and soon a fully reimagined Disney hotel will be opening its doors again. The five-star Disneyland Hotel at Disneyland Paris has been closed for refurbishment for a few years, but the transformation is almost complete.
On January 25th, 2024, Disneyland Hotel at Disneyland Paris will reopen! The entire hotel has been completely reimagined, with luxury rooms, gourmet dining, and more — all inspired by Disney’s “royal stories.”
With references to Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, Sword in the Stone, The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, The Princess and the Frog, Tangled, Frozen, Moana, and Raya and the Last Dragon, details from Disney storytelling can be seen throughout the decor. The grand lobby, which was inspired by European castles, features a Bohemian crystal chandelier that represents the park’s iconic Sleeping Beauty Castle.
Guests can choose from Superior, Deluxe, and Castle Club rooms or Signature Suites, which all have unique design elements inspired by those royal stories.
The most immersive rooms, however, are the Princely and Royal Suites, which are directly inspired by classics such as Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella, Rapunzel, Beauty and the Beast, and Frozen. In these suites, you’ll find details like Aurora’s color-changing dress and Queen Elsa’s Ice Castle.
Even the hotels restaurants, bars, and lounges got a royal makeover. At Royal Banquet, you can dine among “a gallery of paintings featuring Disney Animation’s royal families,” such as King Triton and his seven daughters from The Little Mermaid and Kronk from The Emperor’s New Groove. The dishes are inspired by the homes of Disney Princesses, like a Spicy Cajun Shrimp dish inspired by Tiana. Here, you can also meet Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, and their friends in regal attire exclusive to the hotel.
La Table de Lumière, which is inspired by the Hall 0f Mirrors at Versailles, pays tribute to the Beauty and the Beast ballroom. At this French, fine dining table service location, you can dine on local, gourmet eats such as “roses from Provins and sea treasures like lobster, monkfish, and sole fished off the coast of France.” There is even a cake inspired by Belle’s rose. Here, you’ll be able to dine with “Royal Disney Couples including Belle and her Prince, Aurora and Philip, Tiana and Naveen, or Jasmine and Aladdin in all-new, exclusive regalia.”
At Fleur de Lys Bar, guests can take in a view of the hotel’s Fantasia Gardens while they sip on flower-themed signature cocktails and a selection of quality wines. Here, you’ll also be able to take part in an afternoon tea or a Champagne experience.
Disneyland Hotel Spa by Clarins and Health Club provides both classic and signature treatments, and the “Crystal Pool invites guests of all ages for a leisurely dip beneath the spectacular glass and metal roof that was inspired by the Laeken Royal Greenhouses in Brussels.”
At the Royal Kids Club, which is designed as a royal library, kids can take part in “interactive and augmented reality experiences,” stepping into their favorite stories.
Kids — and adults (!!) — can get a royal makeover with a variety of packages at the Royal Collection Boutique, with a professional portrait session add-on available as well.
