The wait for Tiana’s Bayou Adventure to be completed feels like it’s taking FOREVER, y’all, and we’re getting impatient.
Sure, Tiana would tell us to have patience because “fairy tales can come true.” But Disney has already stated that Tiana’s Bayou Adventure won’t open until late 2024. So, for now, we’re just checking in on the construction of the ride, hoping to spot something new, and well, we’ve got a NEW update to share with you.
We headed over to Magic Kingdom today to see if anything new was going on with Tiana’s Bayou Adventure. The construction site looks much the same. Scaffolding, scaffolding, and more scaffolding.
We also got a bit of a closer look around the side. Hey, look. More scaffolding!
However, when we looked even closer, we noticed some NEW artwork. A mural has been painted on part of the building by the queue. How exciting!
From what we can see, the colors are bright and vibrant, and it looks like the character is playing an instrument.

We’ve learned so much about the attraction so far, like what the queue will smell like (which is going to drive us OUT of our minds with hunger), how long the ride is, and what the story will be like, as it will pick up after the events of The Princess and the Frog animated movie. We’ve even seen a sneak peek at one of the ride’s new animatronics!
The music will also be NEW and exciting — Disney announced that the ride will be “a musical adventure – featuring some of the powerful music from the film.” And y’all, that soundtrack ROCKS. But we also know that the Grammy Award-Winning musician and keyboardist for Maroon 5 PJ Morton is writing a NEW original song for the ride.
We’ll continue to keep an eye out for more changes over at Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, so stay tuned to DFB for more.

If they are going to taunt us with good smells, are there any whisperings of a Tiana restaurant or at least quick service in MK?

So stupid to plunk a 1920 -1930 attraction in Frontierland. What happened to continuity and proper placement of attractions. Now they want to put a non animal theme attraction in Animal Kingdom. What does Encanto and Indiana Jones have to do with animals and /or conservation. Pandora fits because of the banshees but I can not see a connection with Indian Jones and Encanto. Disney has lost it . Just put any of their IP anywhere. Can’t the imagineers get some imagination and actually create something original .
