We all have a good idea of what our dream stay in Disney World would be like.
How we would LOVE to spend a night INSIDE the castle
Maybe it’s just a stay in one of Disney’s most ridiculously cool rooms at the resort (Polynesian Village Bungalows, we’re looking at you). Maybe you dream of a weeks-long stay at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort. For us, though, we think our PERFECT dream Disney World stay would be spending at least one night in the Cinderella Castle Suite. But how is a stay there even possible? Well, we looked into it.
The Cinderella Castle Suite was originally designed for Walt Disney and his family, but Walt passed away before Disney World was completed. The apartment remained unfinished and was used as an office space until 2006, when it was completed as part of Disney World’s “Year of a Million Dreams” celebration.

During that Celebration, Disney World gave guests a chance to win a stay in the suite, but that was the ONLY way to get access to it. When we say that this space is EXCLUSIVE, it really is! It’s the hardest hotel room to get in Disney World. Want to know why we’d LOVE to stay there, though? Check out this video:

So how can you stay there? Well, you just can’t get on the Disney World website and book it. In fact, it’s not open for bookings like that at all. Even if you’re one of the super wealthy who could plop MILLIONS on a hotel room, you’re still not going to get a reservation there. Sorry.

Pretty much the ONLY way to get a stay here is to win it. Disney will occasionally have contests and auctions to raise money for things like Give Kids the World Village or Make-A-Wish where the prize is a night or two in the suite. Sometimes, an entry in the contest is affordable. Sometimes it’s an auction where people bid thousands of dollars for a chance to stay in the suite.

However, Disney did make an exception in May 2023. To celebrate Disney and Make-A-Wish’s 150,000th wish, a Make-A-Wish recipient was given an exclusive overnight stay for her and her family in the Cinderella Castle Suite.

So if you’re looking to book a stay in the Cinderella Castle Suite, you’ll need one of two things (or both): luck and money. However, there is a way to go INSIDE Cinderella Castle, if you just want to see what the interior looks like. You can do that by booking a reservation at Cinderella’s Royal Table, the restaurant inside the castle. The dining experience also includes Disney Princesses, so you’re sure to get the royal treatment.

Is it the same as sleeping inside the castle? Well, no, but it’s about as close as most of us will get to it, so we’ll take it! In the meantime, we’ll keep an eye out for those contests and auctions for Cinderella Castle Suite stays and let you know about them!

First I probably wouldn’t believe it since I never win anything. After the shock wore off I would cry and think I am dreaming. Every contest to win this I have entered but never won. I am such a Disney fan that I couldn’t wait to see the park empty with just my family in the apartment.

I know someone who turns 75, in 2025 that made her mother, daughter, grand daughters and now great grand children fall in love with disney. The family knows every song, movie and nook and cranny of disney after dozens of trips to disney. It would be the biggest dream come true for her to get a night in the castle. Definitely a disney diamond. I would love to see her get a night in the castle, it would make her biggest dream come true
