EPCOT is the place to BE right now. There’s a NEW Figment meet-and-greet, a huge new outdoor attraction, and LOTS of sweet and savory snacks at the Food and Wine Festival. And hey, while you’re in the park, celebrating the 100th Anniversary and all, you might want to grab a drink at a SPACE-themed lounge!
If you’re unfamiliar, Space 220 is one of EPCOT’s newer restaurants, and you can find a variety of unique foods on the menu, like Blue Moon Cauliflower, Space Pad “Thai,” and Rocket Flame Seared Tuna. But there’s always something new to explore in space, right? So come with us to check out all the NEW drinks available at Space 220.
We had the chance to try several new cocktails at Space 220 recently! If you’re interested, note that Space 220 has a prix fixe menu. During the lunch service, an adult meal is $55 for an appetizer and entree. At dinner, adults pay $79 and get an appetizer, entree, and dessert. The kids’ menu is $29 at both lunch and dinner. You can also visit the Space 220 Lounge, though seating is limited, and the menu is slightly different. Now, let’s dive in!
If you’re looking for something DRAMATIC, well, this may be it. The Black Hole Fashioned is made with Knob Creek, Demeraram, and Whiskey Barrel Aged Bitters. You can get it for $18. Check out that black hole in our drink! Cool, right?
The new Gamma Burst drink is made with Grey Goose Strawberry Lemongrass, Midori Melon Liqueur, and Strawberry Popping Pearls. You can get it for $19. This one tasted exactly like a Midori sour, but with Strawberry Popping Pearls. So if you want a familiar drink with a little extra fun, give this one a try!
Whew! Look at the COLOR on this one. The Galaxy Spritz is made with Lagoon Bay Aperitif, Lychee Liqueur, Lemon Juice, and Prosecco — available for $17. It may be hard to tell, but there’s a little space dust in this drink (glitter) to add a little extra sparkle to your meal. In terms of flavor, this was light and refreshing. Our server let us know that this drink is often recommended at the beginning of the meal, as it’s a nice, light way to ease into a feast.
Tropical drink alert! The Illumination consists of Bacardi, Malibu, Passion Fruit, Blood Orange, Pineapple, Lime Sour, and Passion Fruit Boba. It is $18. This was another FUN, refreshing little tropical drink. It tasted like a sweet summer night on vacation. It’s simple but bright and a little sour. Oh, and that Passion Fruit Boba was a nice addition.
Of course, we can’t forget to mention the new margarita, or should we say, the M4RG4R1TA. (Space words, you know.) M4RG4R1TA is made with Espolon Blanco Tequila, Watermelon Lime Sour, and Salted Lime Foam — available for $18.
Check out the new Command Center drink, which is made with Conniption Kinship Gin, St Germain Elderflower Liqueur, Lemon Juice, and topped with Citrus Elderflower Foam for $17. The St Germain Elderflower Liqueur was a prominent flavor in this drink, so if you normally gravitate towards drinks with St Germain, this could be a great new option!
The Space Age Mule consists of Tito’s Vodka, Fresh Carrot Juice, Mango, Lime Juice, and Ginger Beer, with a Tajin Rim. It is available for $17. As with most mules, the bold Ginger Beer stood out, yet it wasn’t overly strong or overpowering. Interestingly enough, this one tasted a bit like those healthy drinks you can get at the store — we think the Fresh Carrot and Mango juice gave it that healthy smoothie flavor.
The Shuttle Crew is made with Kettle One Peach and Orange Blossom Vodka, Vanilla, Tangerine, Red Bull, and topped with Tang Foam. You can try it for $18. Bonus points to this guy for that electric COLOR!
We also got the chance to see the new Saturn 2.0, which consists of Bacardi 8, Velvet Falernum, Orgeat, Passion Fruit, and Lemon Juice. It’s $16.
The Starship Lemonade consists of Butterfly Pea Flower, Lemonade, Sprite, and a Glow Cube. You can try this one for $15. This was a Zero-Proof cocktail, and the Butterfly Pea Flower pairs well with the citrus juices. It’s SO pretty, isn’t it?
This was another Zero-Proof cocktail — and equally pretty, right? The Solar Flare Sour is made with Lyre’s Agave Blanco, Mango, Lime Juice, Grapefruit Bitters, and Fever Tree Tonic Water — available for $17. The Grapefruit Bitters here were tart and sweet — we quite enjoyed it! Hot tip! If you want to turn this into an alcoholic beverage, you can add tequila. You’re welcome!
Don’t worry, we didn’t come here JUST for the drinks. The Big Bang Burrata contains Compressed Watermelon, Burrata Mozzarella, Heirloom Cherry Tomatoes, Arugula, Florida Citrus Oil, and a White Balsamic Dressing. This appetizer was AMAZING! It was light, cool, and fresh — the perfect way to start our meal! Oh, and that Burrata was so creamy and rich.
For our entree, we ordered the Space Pad “Thai,” which is Rice Noodles, Stir Fried Vegetables, Bean Sprouts, Crispy Tofu, Garlic Chili Crunchy, and a Sweet Soy Chili Sauce. Ok, warning. What we’re about to say may be confusing, but stick with us for this next point. Our dish was actually quite dry (despite the sauce). We were hoping our noodles would be coated in sauce more evenly. That said, the flavor was warm, peppery, and bright.
Whew! As you can see, the NEW drink menu is HUGE — there are a lot of new things to explore. In the meantime, we’re always on the lookout for the latest Disney news, so stay tuned for more.

We dined at Space 220 in early 2022. We generally don’t mind costs at WDW (we’re not billionaires, it’s just one of our only splurges), but we were disappointed in the entire experience. The food and the service were very disappointing for the price. When we went (granted, over a year and a half ago now), the food was bland or otherwise just not very good, and our server literally didn’t stop walking when coming to the table to ‘check’ on us. We would want to ask for something, but she would be gone before we could say “refills, please.” We definitely felt like we were being rushed, even though it took a long time for each course to come out. The experience is surprisingly uninteresting for all the hype. Highly limited and repetitive ‘space’ images, for the sake of realism I guess. Reels of former real life space activities would have been better. I’d love to hear from people who have had more recent experiences, whether they thought at least the food was worth it. We’d be willing to try it again, but we’d have to hear really good things. Hopefully next time we want to go, we’ll score seats in the lounge.

I want all of those! Space 220 is one of my favorite Epcot restaurants.

Food was fine, but I had better food at India for about 1/10th the price. Host downstairs was rude, ride “up” was very cool. Big screens initially cool but then realized it was the same astronauts, ships and asteroids replaying over and over and started to think there could be so much more done. One screen a bit glitchy which really threw off the realism. Table service was really good- our server was very attentive and fun. I had the short rib (again, fine… but aren’t all short ribs good??) and my husband got a massive pork chop that was covered in bean and corn succotash that was kind of gross. Daughter got a cheeseburger that was mediocre at best. I’ve been to the Hyperspace Lounge on the disney Wish and THAT was an epic experience that I would 100% do again with great visuals and Star Wars theming. So much more could be done here, but feels like a greedy grab to me.
