We all want traveling to be as smooth and as efficient as possible.
We want to quickest and most direct flights, and we don’t like sitting in traffic. Well, there’s a new transportation method in town that might be the most efficient mode yet — and it opens today, September 22nd.
The Brightline train is a high-speed train that services South Florida. For the first time ever, Orlando will be connected in an efficient and eco-friendly way. It all starts today, Friday, September 22nd.
From the new Orlando station, you can travel to any of the other Brightline station destinations, which include West Palm Beach, Boca Raton, Fort Lauderdale, Aventura, and Miami.

Brightline’s “SMART” one-way tickets from Orlando start at $79 for adults and $39 for kids. Brightline’s goal was to develop a way to transport people who want to travel to destinations that are too long to drive but too short to fly.
The new Orlando station is right at the Orlando International Airport in Terminal C, so if you’re flying into Orlando, it’s easy to hop on the train to your final destination. And if you’re traveling from your home in Orlando, they offer parking at the airport’s Garage C. And similar to air travel, they offer checked or carry-on bags. SMART fares for checked bags are $25 per bag.
With a train that can go up to 125 miles per hour, be prepared for a quick trip. You can book your tickets on their website now. For all your Disney news, check back to the Disney Food Blog!
