There is so much to see in EPCOT‘s World Showcase.
All the different pavilions have so many unique food and drink offerings, beautiful architecture to admire, shopping to do, and so much more. Every now and then, some pavilions will have special events you won’t want to miss out on, and another one is coming up on September 29th!
Mark your calendars! For one day only, a unique event is happening in EPCOT. If you love learning about other cultures and traditions, this is the celebration for you.
On September 29th, you can celebrate an Otsukimi (Moon Viewing) event at the Japan Pavilion from 11:30AM to 6PM!
Celebrate the beauty of the autumn moon with an origami workshop that will teach you to make adorable rabbits out of paper. Japanese folklore says that a rabbit lives on the moon, pounding out mochi, therefore creating the patterns we see on the moon.
This is a wonderful way to involve yourself in Japanese culture and get even more out of your EPCOT day. Head over to the Mitsukoshi store in EPCOT to check out this special event!
