The fall season is a very popular time to visit Disney World.
Schools around the country are released for fall break, folks are headed into the parks to celebrate Halloween, and some people are choosing fall in hopes of not sweating to death in the parks. Late September and early October mark the beginning of the busiest season to go to Disney World, because after Halloween you have Thanksgiving, and after that you have Christmas, and after that you have the New Year. The beginning of this season is where we typically see something pretty spooky, and it’s important that you’re aware of this change if you’re headed to Disney World for a fall vacation!
Yep, we typically see price increases hit Disney World menus around the beginning of October. We also typically see Disney World merchandise prices rise at this time.
While these aren’t drastic price increases, they do add up if you aren’t prepared. As you wrap up on that last-minute planning for your fall vacation, just prepare and give yourself a little extra wiggle room with your dining budget. $10-$15 per day, per person is probably a good (generous) estimate. In most instances, these price increases are by just a few cents. In other situations, though, things have increased by a dollar or more — but it’s rare, and typically happens at the table-service restaurants rather than your everyday snack in the parks.
A little extra wiggle room will have you coveredWhile we don’t really know the cause, rhyme, or reason behind these price increases that seem to take place each October, we’re just guessing that it’s because of the start of a high-travel season where folks are flocking to the parks, and the high-demand leaves room for a yearly price increase. However, we don’t know that for sure.

Is Disney ever going to bring back tables in wonderland It was so nice to have it. Especially with them bringing back the dining plans It seems annual pass holders/vacation club members are always left out. Yet we’re the ones over time that spend small fortunes at the parks on a regular basis
