Disney World is always magical, but that magic is taken to a whole new level when the holiday celebrations begin each winter.
Throughout the parks, you’ll get to take in the sight of gorgeous holiday decor, try some delicious and comforting treats, and celebrate the spirit of togetherness and giving with beloved Disney characters. A fan-favorite offering for many visitors who are in the parks around Christmastime is EPCOT’s Candlelight Processional, where attendees can hear the retelling of the Christmas story by a celebrity narrator, a 50-piece orchestra, and Disney’s very own Voices of Liberty choir. What’s even BETTER is that there are dining packages available each year for the event!
In 2023, booking for Candlelight Processional Dining Packages will open on October 17th. Note that you can make advanced reservations up to 60 days before your visit, so if you’re visiting later in the season, you may have to wait a few days past that October 17th date.
You’ll be able to choose from seven dining locations: Akershus Royal Banquet Hall, Biergarten Restaurant, Coral Reef Restaurant, Garden Grill Restaurant, Le Cellier Steakhouse, Regal Eagle Smokehouse, Rose and Crown Dining Room, and Spice Road Table. Last year, Regal Eagle Smokehouse and Spice Road Table were each available for same-day walkups, but this year, only Regal Eagle is allowing walkups.
To make your reservations on October 17th, you can visit Disney’s website by clicking here.Â
It’s also important to know ahead of time which showing of Candlelight Processional you’ll want to attend and use your dining package for! The list of celebrity narrators and dates is as follows:Â
- Chrissy Metz (NEW): Nov. 24-25
- Luis Fonsi (NEW): Nov. 26-27
- Ann-Margret (NEW): Nov. 28-29
- Simu Liu: Nov. 30-Dec. 2
- John Stamos: Dec. 3-5
- Neil Patrick Harris: Dec. 6-8
- Marlee Matlin: Dec. 9-11
- Brendan Fraser (NEW): Dec. 12-14
- Eva Longoria (NEW): Dec. 15-16
- Joey McIntyre (NEW): Dec. 17-18
- Sterling K. Brown (NEW): Dec. 19-20
- Jordan Fisher (NEW): Dec. 21-23
- Steven Curtis Chapman: Dec. 24-26
- Audra McDonald (NEW): Dec. 27-28
John Stamos? Neil Patrick Harris? BRENDAN FRASER? Y’all, this lineup is going to be GREAT! Also, can we talk about how breakfast options are BACK as an option for Candlelight Processional dining packages? That was NOT an option last year!
Wow, there are just so many things to celebrate. We’ll continue to keep you updated with more Disney news, so make sure to follow along so that you’re always in the loop and never miss a thing.Â

Tricia says
What time do the reservations open? Thanks
DFB Gigi says
Hi Tricia! An official time hasn’t been announced, but I would recommend being ready to make those reservations around 6am.
Dottyanna says
I got in right at 6:00 a, and began trying at 5:40 am. Managed to get reservations for 6 people….yay! My question to you, Gigi, is: the 8:30 show doesn’t say candlelight, while the other two shows specifically say candlelight. Can you tell me why? We wanted the last show, but I ended up booking the 7:00 for candlelight. Thanks!!
DFB Gigi says
Hi Dottyanna! The 8:30 “show” selection appears to just be a glitch on Disney’s website since we know the Candlelight Processional is at 5:15, 7 and 8:30.
