Yes, there is ANOTHER Food & Wine Festival that you might not know about at Disney World. Some may argue it’s even better than the one at EPCOT.
The Swan & Dolphin Food & Wine Classic takes place on Friday, November 10th, and Saturday, November 11th, 2023. The event will run from 5:30-9 PM on both days and will be full of incredible eats, inventive drinks, entertainment, and more. Wondering just what sort of dishes will be available this year? We got a sneak peek on what to expect.
We headed to the Swan Reserve for a media event on the upcoming Food & Wine Classic. We were able to learn more about this years event and taste some of the dishes that will be featured this year. The event includes tastings from ALL of the Swan and Dolphin’s Restaurants, including Todd English’s bluezoo, Shula’s Steakhouse, Kimonos, and more.
The event will be celebrating its 14th anniversary this fall. This year there will be two themed areas — For the Love of Florida and The Rosé Room. These areas will feature new dishes and drinks that are inspired by the name. For example, at the For the Love of Florida, you can taste Seminole Pumpkin Fry Bread. This is a pumpkin-flavored fry bread with powdered sugar and warm pumpkin spice sauce.
You can also expect to see this Pan-Seared Vegan Dumpling at the event. It comes with a spicy sauce to dip in for extra flavor.
Amare will be serving homemade Tortellini Pasta.
Rosa Mexicano, the newest Swan and Dolphin restaurant, is serving up Red Chile Chicken. It has Red Chile Chicken, Avocado, Tomatillo, Pico de Gallo, and Queso Fresco on a corn tortilla.
For dessert, we grabbed Pear Pecan Praline Cake. This cake has a black fig compote to pair with it.
Next, these Blood Orange & Raspberry Tart. Aren’t they beautiful?
The event also includes wine tastings, food, and wine seminars, special experiences (like a VIP Champagne and Dessert Party), and more. Tickets to the VIP Champagne & Dessert Party are $150 per person and you’ll be able to watch Disney World fireworks on the 15th floor at the Swan Reserve.
Tickets are on sale now for $185 per person. The price of the ticket does include ALL the food and beverages at the festival’s food booths, although seminars and additional tastings and events do cost an additional fee.
We’ll be covering everything you need to know about the event, so stay tuned to DFB for more!
