If youโre in Disney World today, there are a couple of updates that you need to know about!

Hollywood Studios at night
Usually the Disney World theme parks close fairly late in the evening. Recently, Disneyโs Hollywood Studios has been closing around 9PM, and Magic Kingdom has been closing around 11PM. However, today both of these theme parks will be closing several hours EARLIER.
Today, October 17th, Disneyโs Hollywood Studios is closing at 5PM. Due to the early closure, nighttime events and shows, including Fantasmic! and Wonderful World of Animation, will not take place.

Magic Kingdom is also closing early, at 6PM. This closure is due to a Mickeyโs Not-So-Scary Halloween Party taking place tonight. Magic Kingdom closes at 6PM on every day of the event; hereโs a list of the dates for the remaining events of the year:
- October 17th
- October 19th
- October 20th
- October 22nd
- October 24th
- October 26th
- October 27th
- October 29th
- October 31st
- November 1st
On each of those dates, Magic Kingdom will close at 6PM and will not have the Happily Ever After fireworks show.

Magic Kingdom
If youโre going to either of these theme parks (and you donโt have a ticket to the Mickeyโs Not-So-Scary Halloween Party tonight), thereโs still plenty to do in Disney World in the evening! If you have a Park Hopper ticket (or an Annual Pass), you can hop over to EPCOT or Disneyโs Animal Kingdom. EPCOT is open until 9PM (with a showing of the EPCOT Forever fireworks show), and Animal Kingdom closes at 7PM.

EPCOT at night
If you donโt have Park Hopper, you could head over to Disney Springs to get some tasty snacks and do some shopping.

You can also explore one of the many hotels on Disney World property. There are lots of lounges and bars at these hotels, not to mention all the fantastic restaurants.
