Festival of the Holidays
EPCOT has a celebration of its own this holiday season with the 2023 EPCOT Festival of the Holidays!
Disney has already announced the food booths, the return of the cookie stroll, celebrity narrators for the Candlelight Processional, storytellers around World Showcase, entertainment, a Living With the Land holiday overlay, Olaf’s scavenger hunt, and exclusive merchandise. There is so much excitement to look forward to!

Haunted Mansion Change
Haunted Mansion change? In November? It’s happening! Although we would’ve loved to see him in the mansion during spooky season, we’re excited to welcome the Hatbox Ghost to Haunted Mansion in Magic Kingdom!
Disney has not announced an exact date that the Hatbox Ghost will appear inside the spookiest ride in the park, but they previously mentioned “late November 2023.” We’ll keep you updated when he shows up!

Holiday Decor
In our opinion, one of the best weeks to be at Disney World is when October turns to November. Why? In the words of Hannah Montana, you get the best of both worlds!
The Halloween and fall decor is still up, but in the beginning of November, the holiday decor hits the parks almost overnight! You get to experience Halloween and the holidays all in one week. Start looking for the park’s holiday decor and the iconic gingerbread houses at the hotels around the start of November.

Extended Evening Hours at a NEW Park
Extended Evening Hours is a perk for anyone staying at a deluxe Disney World hotel where you can stay in the parks after it officially closes. In November, the perk is going to be available at a NEW park!
Disney’s Animal Kingdom is getting Extented Evening Hours and it’s everything we’ve ever dreamed about! You’ll be able to see the Tree of Life lit up and we swear, Pandora was made to be seen at night with the bioluminescence.
This is a great opportunity to ride some attractions without a long wait time (we’re looking at you, Flight of Passage). These hours will be available at Animal Kingdom on November 8th and 22nd, and December 4th and 28th, 2023. The Disney World calendar shows 7PM to 9PM as the hours!
