Have you ever dreamed of a perfect Disney wedding?
Sure, you could get married at Disney World with a view of Cinderella Castle. You could even get married at the Haunted Mansion or other iconic Disney World locations. However, did you know you could get married on a Disney Cruise ship? Well, you can, and we’ve got some new details to share about how to book that perfect Disney wedding onboard the newest ship in the fleet, the Disney Treasure.
The Disney Treasure, the sixth ship in the Disney Cruise Line fleet, will take its maiden voyage on December 21st, 2024.
The ship will celebrate “Walt Disney’s lifelong love of adventure” with a design “inspired by the grandeur and mystery of a gilded palace.” That sounds like a magical location for a wedding, right?
The Grand Hall on board the Disney Treasure will be the ceremony venue for weddings and vow renewals. The grand hall has features inspired by Asia and Africa with “hues of deep blues, turquoise, and gold.” There’s even a gorgeous staircase and chandelier to set the mood. Plus, there’s a gold statue of Aladdin and Jasmine on their Magic Carpet Ride — isn’t that romantic?
Weddings and vow renewals in the Grand Hall will start at $5,000 and can accommodate up to 40 guests. A wedding here also includes an on-site ceremony coordinator, a choice of personal fresh flowers for the couple, an officiant, a pianist, a cake and champagne celebration, dinner for the happy couple at Palo, steaming for the couple’s wedding clothes, and more!
Of course, the couple can also have their honeymoon vacation on the ship. The Disney Treasure will offer 7-night Eastern and Western Caribbean itineraries.
Weddings and vow renewals on the Disney Treasure will start on February 8th, 2025. You must make a reservation for the cruise before adding a wedding package. Once your cruise reservation is confirmed and your wedding package is added, you will be put in touch with your Disney Wedding Planner to start figuring out all the details.
So, if you want to plan a Disney wedding on the new ship, here’s your chance to start thinking about it.
