Disney just recently announced Disney After Hours events will be returning to the parks in 2024.
These events are coming to three of the four parks – Magic Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, and EPCOT. Disney After Hours events are three extra hours you get in the parks if you buy the special tickets. You’ll get lower wait times on the rides, complimentary food and beverages, and an extra fireworks show! There was A LOT of information, so we’re here today to break it all down for you.
All three of these parks will be offering these extra hours events on select days starting in 2024. But each park starts on different days and has different ticket prices. So let’s look at each park individually to see what you can expect and get a comparison from this past year.
Also, before we get too into the weeds, it’s important to note that Annual Passholders and Disney Vacation Club members get discounted prices for after hours tickets at all three parks!
Magic Kingdom
We’re starting with the OG Disney World park, Magic Kingdom. At Magic Kingdom, during these events, you will be able to get in a standby queue for Tron Lightcycle / Run and watch Enchantment as it returns exclusively for these events.
You can go to Magic Kingdom for After Hours Events from 10PM to 1AM starting on January 11th, 2024, and go on select nights through April 8th, 2024. Magic Kingdom After Hours ticket prices will range from $155 to $175 (plus tax). These prices have increased from the 2023 prices of $129 to $159 (plus tax).

Events at Hollywood Studios begin January 10th and run through April 10th, 2024 on select nights.
You can enjoy the fun starting at 9:30PM until 12:30AM! 2024 prices at Hollywood Studios are the same as Magic Kingdom, ranging from $155 to $175 (plus tax). Last year we saw After Hours event tickets here for $129 to $149, so this is quite the increase.

There are a couple other important things to note. Anyone with a Disney After Hours event ticket may enter the park for their event at 7PM. If you’re going to Magic Kingdom this means you could catch TWO fireworks shows in one night!
Also, anyone staying at a Walt Disney World Resort, Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Hotels, or Shades of Green may purchase their tickets starting November 7th, 2024 by calling 407-W-Disney. All other guests can start purchasing tickets on November 14th, 2023.
These are going to be some fun nights with lower crowds, lower wait times, and extra food. We can’t wait!

Wow, that’s expensive. Even as an AP and DVC member, that’s too expensive.
