For YEARS people have complained about Disney World pizza.
And to be fair, we’ve had some pretty iffy pizzas in Disney World in the past. There have been quite a few discussions about the less-than-optimal puffy pizza that you get at places like PizzeRizzo, Pizzafari, and Catalina Eddie’s. But we’re here to tell you that not all Disney World pizza is terrible! In fact, there are some actually delicious options out there…you just need to know where to look.
Via Napoli
The first place we’re starting is in the Italy Pavilion at EPCOT. This should be your first stop if you’re a pizza snob because Via Napoli Ristorante e Pizzeria is known for its authentic wood-fired pizzas. They even import the water to make the dough as accurately as possible.
There are a variety of flavors and toppings to choose from, and if you’re dining with a large party, you can order their 1/2 meter Mezzo Metro pizza…which is honestly a STEAL. Basically, Via Napoli is a haven for anyone craving that Naples-inspired taste.
And if you don’t have time for a sit-down meal? Don’t worry! Via Napoli has a walk-up pizza window outside the restaurant that’s open seasonally. If it’s operating during your visit, we recommend stopping by and sharing one of their large slices.
Pizza Ponte
Hopping over to Disney Springs, we’ve got to mention Pizza Ponte! We’ve had some great experiences recently at this spot, which is the quick service counterpart to Maria & Enzo’s and Enzo’s Hideaway. They serve sandwiches, salads, and desserts, but pizza is the menu headliner.
They have a variety of flavors all made in the Sicilian style, and you can order them by the gigantic slice. It’s a great spot if you’re in a rush and you want some fast, authentically good pizza. Plus, everyone can order their own preference of flavor!
Blaze Pizza
But what if one slice isn’t cutting it? Well, good news — Disney Springs is also home to Blaze Pizza! This restaurant is a chain that you might be familiar with if you have one in your hometown, but it’s a fave for the team here at DFB. Why? CUSTOMIZATION.
Blaze is like the Subway of pizza restaurants. You go down the line and get the chance to create your pizza to your liking, from the dough to the sauce to the toppings. And if you’re suffering from pizza choice paralysis, you can order from their pre-made list instead of choosing all the ingredients yourself.
Disney’s BoardWalk
Another great place to visit if you’re in the mood for a pie is Disney’s BoardWalk. Here, we’re fans of the pizza at both the BoardWalk Pizza Window and Trattoria al Forno next door. They’re two completely different vibes restaurant-wise, but there’s an option for each mood.
If you want to grab a slice to go and walk along the BoardWalk while you dine, then the window is the way to go. If you’d prefer to sit down and enjoy your pizza with bread and oil, appetizers, and great service, we recommend Trattoria. Either way, you can’t go wrong!
Yummy Flatbreads
Besides all these locations, we’ve also found some one-off flatbreads that we’ve enjoyed at various restaurants around the parks! Both Pinocchio Village Haus in Magic Kingdom and Terra Treats in Animal Kingdom have had Buffalo Chicken Flatbreads that we loved, so if they’re on the menu during your visit, make sure to check them out.
And Terra Treats in particular often gets seasonal flatbread flavors that are a bit more inventive than your basic options, so we recommend stopping by to see what they’ve got. You’ll have to go early in the day, though, because this snack stand usually closes at 3PM.
So there’s our love letter to all you pizza fanatics! Go forth and enjoy a delicious pie. No need to quit the pizza obsession just because you’re visiting Disney World!

You missed the pizza at Saratoga Springs

Be careful with the walk up window at Via Napoli. On our last visit earlier this month, it was awful. The pizza crust had consistency of undercooked bread, cheese wasn’t melted (and too thick!), and sauce was basically non-existent. I love square Sicilian style slabs, so this was a MAJOR disappointment.

Paul I couldn’t agree more!! I’m from Italy and we got some some pizza there and it was disgusting to say the least!!
It smelled horrible too, it went straight to the trash. I mean it even looked gross but my son really wanted pizza, even the Italian girls gave me an apologetic look.
I haven’t tried the actual restaurant though only the window.

We recently ate at Via Napoli and it was wonderful. We also enjoy Blaze at Disney Springs. We have not tried all the others.

🤔 A few months ago I went to the boardwalk and tried to get a slice. I was told that I could only get the whole pizza. I was alone and didn’t need that so I moved on. You seem to be saying that I should have been able to get one slice? Yes, no?
Carole says
Yeah, I’ve had consistently bad pizza at that window and the amount I throw out is bad and sad. Don’t do it.
