If you happen to be visiting Disney World soon, your next plans might include taking a few minutes to look up!
Disney is known to celebrate various occasions around the theme parks in the best way they know how. With the recent release of the U.S. Military Salute tickets, Disney is set to host a fantastic sight once again!
Disney World is kicking off National Veterans and Military Families Month with a boom! Disney recently sent out a notice to the surrounding communities and Cast Members outlining plans to host a flyover of Magic Kingdom and EPCOT parks.
The U.S. Airforce Thunderbirds flight demonstration team will take to the skies over Magic Kingdom and EPCOT to kick off the celebration on Monday, October 30th, 2023 at 10:30AM. If you happen to be in or around these two parks during this time, it’s a neat sight to see and is typically over within a few minutes.
From previous experience with flyovers around Disney World, we know these planes tend to make a pass over Cinderella Castle in Magic Kingdom headed towards EPCOT then will turn and fly back over within seemingly seconds in the same direction they came. We recommend that if you’re looking to get an optimal spot to see them, plan to be in your ideal location with plenty of time before they are set to arrive.
