We’ve got to talk about Toy Story Land.
Disney’s Hollywood Studios jam-packed a LOT of stuff to do in this one land including two restaurants, Woody’s Lunch Box and Roundup Rodeo BBQ, and three attractions! Slinky Dog Dash is easily the busiest of the land’s rides but we’ve got an update on this Toy Story-themed coaster.
Many people still think that Rise of the Resistance or Flight of Passage is the most popular ride in all of Disney World. Right? Wrong. Slinky Dog Dash has snuck its way up to take the crown of the highest wait time of all four parks, but this week, it actually saw a significant decrease!
Slinky Dog Dash posted a 103-minute average wait time last week. It’s been a busy few weeks in Disney World with wait times skyrocketing, park passes selling out, and crowding in the parks. This week, though, it saw a decrease to a 79-minute average! That’s a 23% decrease which is pretty big for one week’s difference!
That’s not to say that you are free from long wait times here — it just might be tamer than it has been in the past few weeks. Genie+ is still a good way to skip the line and it would still be our first pick when Lightning Lanes become available at 7AM.

Ron says
When Disney says that Park Passes are selling out, what does that mean? My family and I were in Disney World in 2019 before the Pandemic and no Park Passes and in 2022 and 2023 after the Pandemic with Park Passes. The parks are not more crowded now than before the Pandemic. The problem is Disney is selling Genie Plus at $25-30 per person and when guests on put onto the ride the selection is 10 people from the Stand By Line and 50 people from the PAID GENIE LIGHTENING LANE. This is why waiting times are SO LONG. FEWER PEOPLE ARE GOING TO DISNEY BECAUSE OF THE RIDICULOUS PRICE INCREASES. Disney continues to OVERCHARGE THE PARK GUESTS TO MAKE UP FOR THE LOSSES IN DISNEY PLUS STREAMING AND THE MOST RECENT DISNEY MOVIE RELEASES. Disney, BE HONEST AND GIVE THE HOTEL AND PARK GUESTS A FINANCIAL BREAK. ELIMINATE THE GENIE PLUS AND BRING BACK THE FREE FAST PASS WITH THREE RIDE SCHEDULED MONTHS BEFORE ARRIVAL.
