There was recently an emergency evacuation at Disney World.
EPCOT monorail
The Disney World Monorail is an above-ground subway-style system that takes people between the Ticket and Transportation Center, Magic Kingdom, Magic Kingdom-area hotels, and EPCOT. Now, we have just heard that there was an incident along the Monorail that caused an emergency evacuation.
While on its way to EPCOT this morning (October 31st), the Monorail train stalled due to a flat tire, trapping passengers inside towering above the ground. While headed to the parks, we saw lots of emergency crews responding to the location.

A passenger on the Monorail, Kris Lenk, told Fox35, “There was a loud bang explosion, and then we kind of saw a big flash of light. After that, the monorail slowed down.” He also mentioned that there was a burning rubber smell and some smoke.
Emergency crews were on the scene to evacuate the passengers.

There is currently no update on if there were any injuries or the cause of the stall.

I am surprised to heard that the Monorail was not equipped with run flats
I love the Monorail. I also love the Magical Express, and hope that Disney comes to its senses and brings it back.
Magical express cost Disney a fortune so i don’t think it’s a sense issue. I wish they would go crazy and bring it back, boy it was a cost saver big time !!
