ALERT! The Jungle Cruise Ride Is CHANGING Soon in Magic Kingdom

‘Tis the season to be jolly! Yes, the holiday season is arriving in Disney World, and with that comes a lot of festive things.

We’ll have the EPCOT Festival of the Holidays to look forward to soon. We’ve already seen some holiday decorations taking over the parks. We’ve also seen a TON of holiday merchandise in stores. But one of the things we’re most excited about is the holiday overlay on one of Disney World’s classic rides, and we now know when that might happen!

So Jingle Cruise, the festive holiday overlay for Jungle Cruise, will be returning for the 2023 holiday season. Now, we think we’ve figured out exactly WHEN you’ll be able to ride it, though Disney hasn’t officially confirmed the return date yet. As we were looking at the Disney World calendar for Jungle Cruise, we noticed that as of November 3rd, the ride isn’t showing any operating hours.

So, why is it not showing hours? Well, the most likely explanation is that the ride will switch to the Jingle Cruise starting November 3rd. Note that Disney has not made any announcements about the Jingle Cruise opening date quite yet, so that date is subject to change.

So what exactly is Jingle Cruise? Well, it’s the Jungle Cruise you know and love, just with a holiday twist. The ride gets a festive makeover while the Jungle Cruise skippers pepper their dialogue with some punny holiday jokes. Fun, right?

We’ll be looking for an official announcement on the official opening date. Of course, we will also be at Jingle Cruise the DAY it opens so we can take you along with us for all the joyous and dad joke fun!
