Some days are probably not the best days to be in Disney World and others are ideal for booking a trip as fast as you can to visit one or more of the parks.
It can often feel intimidating to visit Disney World when a new attraction opens. That being said, it doesn’t always have to be scary. Sometimes you’ll be surprised how run-of-the-mill a park day can be even on an opening day. In fact, we have a specific date in mind when we suggest taking a visit to one of the Disney World parks!
December 5th of this year marks an important day for EPCOT at Disney World — the premiere of Luminous: The Symphony of Us! We’ve been following the news on this new nighttime spectacular all year and now we finally have that elusive opening date.
This new dramatic show is located in World Showcase at EPCOT and will feature a pageantry of fireworks, fountains, music, and lights set to original composition. The show will feature new music mixed in with Disney classics in an effort to remind audiences that “we are more alike than we are different.” Luminous will be replacing EPCOT Forever.
Luminous promises to be a special communal event that brings the audience together with an overhead spectacle, possibly making it a must-attend on day one. While you’re there on December 5th, also be sure to check out EPCOT’S International Festival of the Holidays which runs from November 24th through December 30th. We have a guide to help you with the ins and outs of this festival, which you can access by clicking here.
We’ll keep you in the loop with all the latest EPCOT and Disney World news, so be sure to stay tuned right here at DFB!
