It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas in Disney World!
But before Christmas comes Thanksgiving, and we wondered if Disney had forgotten about it. They have been releasing so many new holiday treats, souvenirs, and entertainment, but we’ve seen nothing about a turkey. That is, until now!
Disney World has finally brought us some Thanksgiving-themed foods to try throughout the month of November! These feature all the classic Turkey Day flavors you know and love– cranberry, pumpkin, and maple. They are located all around the resort: hotels, parks, and Disney Springs.
So, let’s take a look at some of these returning foods and two new ones that you can find in Disney World now.
First, there’s the new Turkey Cupcake at Sunshine Seasons in EPCOT! We can’t help but think this cupcake is super adorable.
There is actually a little turkey (hopefully made with sugar, not real turkey) on top! How cute is this cupcake? Is it too cute to eat? Never. We can’t wait to sink our teeth into this sweet treat.
The next item we’re excited to see is the Pumpkin Cheesecake Tart at The Mara at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge.
This looks like a decadent dessert that certainly does resemble a pumpkin! We’re guessing this will be a pumpkin-flavored treat — looks good, right?
Returning to Disney World this month is the Here We Come A-Croquetting at Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar in Disney Springs.
Then, also returning, is the Pumpkin Pie-spice Beignets at Scat Cat’s Club-Café at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort. A pumpkin Mickey-shaped dessert is always a top pick for us!
Over at Landscape of Flavors and Everything POP, Art of Animation, and Pop Century Resorts respectively, you can get the returning Maple Pot de Créme. We’ve had this dessert before and LOVED it!
Then head to Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort to try the returning Pumpkin Cheesecake at Gasparilla Island Grill! This is another DFB-approved treat, so next time you’re in the area, give it a try!
Last but not least, Satu’li Canteen is getting its Pumpkin Cheesecake Mousse again in Disney’s Animal Kingdom. It’s so orange!
So while we’re decking the halls with holly, we are also grateful for the season and ready to enjoy the Thanksgiving festivities as well. Keep your eyes out for these new Thanksgiving treats around Disney World!
