We’re at the first night of Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party in Magic Kingdom, and there’s SO MUCH to do!
We’re watching Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade to spot Santa and marching toy soldiers, viewing Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks, and dancing the night away at Club Tinsel, and Disney Junior Jingle Jam. Of course, we can’t forget about all the tasty food at this exclusive party — and some of it is FREE!
Disney announced more than 20 new treats coming to Magic Kingdom for the holiday party, including a Hot Cocoa Churro, a Sugar Plum Sundae, an Orange Gingerbread Shake, and so much more.
While we love to try out the new eats, it’s important to note that most of the snacks at Magic Kingdom are NOT included with your ticket. You’ll have to pay extra for these holiday treats.
Click here to see photos and reviews of ALL the holiday treats at Magic Kingdom.
However, there are some free snacks around the park during the party! You can get complimentary cookies and hot cocoa at designated locations around the park! Each location has a different free cookie and drink. Come with us to try them all!
Columbia Harbour House
Our first stop was Columbia Harbour House! Look for big peppermint-printed inflatables to find all the free treat locations.
Here, you can get a free chocolate chip cookie with hot cocoa.
Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Café
On to Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Café!
Cast Members inside the restaurant were handing out the treats.
This spot had snickerdoodles and hot cocoa.
Lunching Pad
Time for the Lunching Pad!
This location was serving sugar cookies with green icing and white sprinkles, and apple cider was the drink.
Pinocchio Village Haus
Over in Fantasyland, we stopped by Pinocchio Village Haus.
This location had red velvet cookies with hot cocoa.
Tortuga Tavern
Just one more stop to go! This one is at Tortuga Tavern in Adventureland.
Here, you can get gingerbread cookies…
…and eggnog!

James Watson says
We can’t wait to go! Can you get more than one cookie at each location?
DFB Gigi says
Hi James! I was just there on Thursday and when I asked the CM at Pinocchio Village Haus if I could have more than one red velvet cookie (because they’re my favorite) she handed me three more! Other locations were giving people more than one cookie if they asked nicely as well.
James says
Thank you Gigi! I love red velvet and gingerbread so I will probably ask for an extra. 😊
