We’re back in the World of Frozen in Hong Kong Disneyland today!
We’ve been able to visit the shops, ride the rides, and see the shows. But one of the most important things we’ve gotten to do with our time in Arendelle is try the food! We made our way over to the brand-new treat shop to taste some “frozen” snacks and we weren’t disappointed.
We stopped by Northern Delights to try a couple of their sweet, ice-cream treats. Northern Delights is the village’s go-to for all the delectable desserts. You can find a wide variety of options here such as cupcakes and of course chocolate. When we went, we tried the Coronation Sundae and the Summer Snow Day soft-serve.
We first tried the Coronation Sundae which is a light milk soft-serve sundae on elderflower-flavored slush (Served in “Frozen”-themed cup)!
Our first impression of this sundae was that it is VERY cute! The themed bowl is very pretty and adds to the fun. The elderflower slush was super floral with lots of flavor. Overall, we thought it was nice and sweet. If you’re not a fan of floral flavors, you may want to skip this. However, the floral notes of the slush pair together really nicely with the soft serve.
Then we tried the adorable Summer Snow Day soft serve. This is a vanilla soft-serve shaped like Olaf with a marshmallow for his head. The buttons are also a sweet candy, potentially marshmallows, and his arms are, you guessed it, chocolate!
This ice cream treat was delicious! The flavor is almost like a sweetened condensed milk and the marshmallow head was nice and chewy. We noticed that this Olaf would NOT do well in summer as it was melting rather quickly. The themed cone was our favorite part, except it was pretty thin on top and didn’t help a whole lot with the melting problem. But overall, we really enjoyed this treat!
