People can be picky when it comes to their food, and that’s okay!
Whether you’re picky about what you like to eat or where you eat, we don’t judge! We know plenty of people who will only go to particular restaurants if they’re in the mood for something specific– and we support it! After a lot of thinking (and food tasting), we get it. We put ourselves in a steak expert’s shoes and thought about where we would prefer to eat.
There are so many restaurants on Disney property that have a ton of different offerings. If you’re in the mood for something, you’re almost always going to be able to find it somewhere. When it comes to steak, it is no different. We have found some of the BEST places to get a great steak, and we think all of the steak experts reading this will agree.
Steakhouse 71
Steakhouse 71 is located in the Contemporary Resort and is a casual spot to grab a bite to eat during any meal of the day. Its proximity to the Magic Kingdom makes it a convenient spot to sit down for a mid-day break and enjoy a delicious meal.
Something that is prominent on their menu, of course, is steak! Their steaks range in price and can cost you anything between $30 and $39. They also come with one sauce and one side, so you can customize it however you’d like. Can’t choose between all of your sauce options? No worries! They offer sauce flights for $6.00, so you can try out each of the 7 sauces at your leisure!
Yachtsman Steakhouse
The Yachtsman Steakhouse is located at Disney’s Yacht Club Resort and brings you a ton of classic flavors from New England. They only offer dinner here, so plan accordingly! Their steaks range in price between $55.00 and $65.00. They also offer seafood add-ons to your steak dinner. Not feeling steak tonight? Don’t worry, they have seafood entrees as well.
Keep in mind, this is a signature dining experience, so there is a dress code put in place for guests. Disney asks that guests dress in a way that respects the restaurant’s sophisticated and upscale aesthetic.
Citricos
Citricos is located at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. Here, they bring together flavors of Florida and Mediterranean cuisine. They only offer lunch and dinner at this restaurant, so keep that in mind when you’re booking your reservation. The menu here has a variety of food you can order, but the steaks are delicious! Their steak offerings range from $52.00 to $59.00.
This is another signature dining experience at Disney World. They also have a dress code that they ask guests to adhere to — they want guests to make sure they match their sophisticated and opulent aesthetic. Make sure you pack accordingly if you’re going to dine at this delicious restaurant!
Topolino’s Terrace
Topolinos Terrace is located at Disney’s Riviera Resort. It offers a character breakfast as well as a signature dining experience for dinner. When it comes to their breakfast, we can not get enough of their steak and eggs. You also get visits from Minnie and Friends, so keep a lookout and have your camera ready!
At dinner time, they offer fine dining with a magical touch, so be sure you don’t miss out on this!! Their menu has a good variety on it, but make sure to try their steak dishes– they’re amazing. They ask that guests dress in a sophisticated and exclusive aesthetic for their dinner service.
Shula’s Steak House
Shula’s Steak House is located at the Dolphin Hotel in the EPCOT resort area! This unique experience honors the only undefeated team in NFL history, the Miami Dolphins. At this restaurant, you’re able to get some delicious steaks and seafood. The prices on their steaks range from $69.00 all the way up to $160.00.

Is that….ketchup….in the filet mignon and mac and cheese photo from Steakhouse 71?
(I’ll hold off until I hear back to make comments regarding anyone’s status as a ‘steak expert’)
DFB Gigi says
Hi BK. That is not ketchup. It’s the Signature Steakhouse 71 sauce.

Was not impressed at Steakhouse 71 when I went there…where does STK at the springs rate. It is up there in price similar to Capital Grille in Orlando but I have not dined there….

Of the restaurants on this list I’d take Yachtsman’s. Steakhouse 71 was underwhelming as was Shula’s. Sorry Citricos but I am NOT wearing a jacket and tie to dinner when I’m on vacation in DisneyWorld. Not happening. As for the rest of the list- I’d rather take Le Cellier in the Canadian Pavillion in EPCOT any day of the week and twice on Sunday.

Personally I think Shula’s is the best for steak. Steakhouse 71 is like getting a mediocre steak at a cafeteria! Blah!
