It’s TIME!
Yep, over the past week, we officially entered the holiday season at Disney World, Thanksgiving came and went, and now, we have our sights set on Christmas and the New Year. In case you weren’t at Disney World this week to witness all the chaos that the start of the holiday season involves, this post is for you!Â
With the holiday season beginning, there were a few things that still SHOCKED us this week at Disney World. Let’s talk about it!
Genie+ SOLD OUT
It’s the week of Thanksgiving. Of course, we expected to see some crowds. We also expected to see a price increase for Genie+. Well, that price increase hit HARD. On Monday, November 20th, we saw that price hit $35. This is the highest price we’ve seen since the spring.

Despite these record-high prices, the service still SOLD OUT for Magic Kingdom and for the Multi-Park option. THAT was the part we did not expect.

Park Pass Reservations Sold Out
We expected it to be busy, but we didn’t expect Park Pass Reservations to sell out!

EPCOT Festival of the Holidays Began!
With the holiday season comes one of our FAVORITE festivals! The 2023 EPCOT Festival of the Holidays started on November 24th, and we tried all sorts of great treats and even participated in the cookie stroll.Â

Regardless of the crowds at the beginning of the week, the crowds on the first day of Festival of the Holidays were basically nonexistent! It was a relatively sleepy day in EPCOT. We had so much fun, and we are so excited to continue celebrating the holidays at Disney World this year.
