If you’re chronically indecisive when it comes to choosing somewhere to eat, Disney Springs just might be the most stressful place you can go. The shopping and dining district inside Disney World lists 68 restaurants on its website — if you can’t choose between Taco Bell and McDonald’s for a late-night fast food run at home, how in the WORLD are you supposed to narrow down that huge number?!
Don’t worry — we’ve been to ALL of the restaurants in Disney Springs, and we can tell you exactly which ones are and aren’t worth your time and hard-earned cash. We’ve taken that list of almost 70 restaurants and picked out the 6 best ones to make your decision WAY easier!
Our list of the best restaurants in Disney Springs includes two table service (sit-down) restaurants, two quick service (fast food) restaurants, and two snack or dessert spots. That way, you can pick where to eat based on the vibes you’re looking for or how much time you have. Let’s get started!
Table Service
Remember that you’ll need reservations to dine at any table service restaurant in Disney World, including the ones at Disney Springs. You might be able to join a walk-up waitlist if you don’t have reservations, but it just depends on availability for that day. You can make reservations 60 days before your visit.
Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’
Homecomin’ is one of our all-time favorite places to eat in Disney World. The restaurant is owned by celebrity Chef Art Smith, and the menu celebrates Southern and Floridian cuisine.
The fried chicken here is to die for, but don’t sleep on the other dishes like the famous Church Lady Deviled Eggs, the Spicy Cauliflower Wings, the Cheddar Cheese Drop Biscuits, and the Mac and Cheese.
Sometimes we get the Thigh High Chicken Biscuits as our entrée (even though it’s a starter) because they’re just that good.
The Rise ‘n’ Shine Brunch is served at Homecomin’ on Saturdays and Sundays, with unique menu options like the Hallelujah Biscuit and Hush Puppy Benedict.

Wine Bar George
Wine Bar George is the ONLY Master Sommelier-owned wine bar in all of Florida. Master Sommelier George Milotes owns this spot, but the restaurant is great for more than just its extensive wine menu.
There are over a hundred wine options on the menu, and you can order by the ounce, bottle, or glass.
However, we usually come for the EATS at this spot. The small plates and shareable entrées menu was created in partnership with Executive Chef Ron Rupert.
Some of our favorite eats here include the Crispy Mac & Cheese Bites, the Saganaki on Fire (which really is on fire when they serve it to you), and the Skirt Steak.
Like Homecomin’, Wine Bar George offers a weekend brunch on Saturdays and Sundays.

Quick Service
These spots are great for a quick meal if you don’t have reservations or don’t have much time. Sometimes we even prefer them to the fancier table service restaurants, as they have a more chill vibe, generally have lower prices, and still serve very delicious food.
Chicken Guy
Guy Fieri worked with restauranteur Robert Earl on this restaurant, which is Chicken Guy!‘s flagship location. (There are now a few different locations around the country.)
If you love sauce, this place was MEANT for you. Chicken Guy! has delicious fried chicken, but the novelty of this spot is its menu of 22 dipping sauces!
Your choice of two sauces comes with any chicken tender meal, but you can always add more for $0.50 each. We definitely recommend trying out a few different ones to make it a more exciting experience!
There are also a few tasty chicken sandwiches on the menu, like the Bourbon Brown Sugar BBQ and the Southwestern sandwich.
We love the Mac Daddy Mac ‘n’ Cheese — it’s mac ‘n’ cheese smothered in super melty cheese, chopped crispy or grilled chicken, bacon, and green onions.
It’s listed as a side, but really it could probably make a solid lunch on its own.

D-Luxe Burger
Not in the mood for chicken? Head over to D-Luxe Burger for some seriously delicious hamburgers. This spot even has Mobile Order, so you can skip the line and get your food faster!
D-Luxe Burger is actually owned and operated by Disney. It boasts gourmet hamburgers made of signature beef blends on fresh-baked buns. Sometimes they’ll have limited-time specialty burgers, like the delicious Beef Wellington burger we had there recently.
All-natural chicken and veggie burgers are also up for grabs. Hand-cut fries and house-made dipping sauces are available to round out your meal no matter which patty you choose. (Trust us when we tell you to check out those dipping sauces — they’re not just your average “ketchup and mustard” options.)
And if the words “artisanal gelato shakes” make you even more excited to visit this burger joint, then you’re in good company!
If you’re like us and need lots of caffeine to keep you going on your Disney World day, you’ll be happy to hear that soda refills are free at this spot.
Sometimes, when we just want a light lunch, we grab a kids’ meal here and are super satisfied.

Snacks/Treats
Now it’s time for dessert! These are our two FAVORITE places to grab a sweet treat in Disney Springs.
Gideon’s Bakehouse
If we could eat giant cookies and huge cake slices every single day, we might never leave Gideon’s Bakehouse.
Even before the opening of the Disney Springs location, Gideon’s was famous among Orlando locals for creating incredible, fully loaded, nearly half-pound COOKIES. Triple Chocolate Chip, Pistachio Toffee Chocolate Chip, and the Coffee Cake Cookie are just a few of our favorite flavors.
The Disney Springs location features an expanded menu of Gideon’s cookies (including limited edition flavors that come out each month) and cake slices along with unique specialty coffees.
Here’s a controversial take: Some of our team members love those cake slices even MORE than the iconic cookies. The cake is moist and rich, and the frosting and toppings are always fantastic.
For the best of both worlds, visit during Hot Cookie Hours to get a warm Gideon’s cookie topped with ice cream.
This bakehouse also has a fun, spooky Victorian vibe, with adorably creepy character mascots for each of the limited-edition cookie flavors.

Salt & Straw
When plain vanilla and chocolate ice cream just won’t do it for ya, you need to go to Salt & Straw. Where else can you find ice cream flavored with BUGS and POTATO SALAD?
The family-run business (cousins Kim and Tyler Malek are the creators of Salt & Straw) is known for unique flavors of handmade, small-batch ice cream utilizing local, organic, and sustainable ingredients.
We’ve learned to expect the unexpected from Salt & Straw, with flavors like Turkey, Spiked Eggnog, and more! The Disney Springs location includes favorites like Honey Lavender and Chocolate Gooey Brownie, along with unique flavors specific to Florida, like The Salty Donut Guava & Cheese and Panther Coffee Chocolate Tres Leches.
So whether you’re planning to play it safe with the Salted, Malted, Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Ice Cream or take a risk with the Parker Rolls with Salted Buttercream Ice Cream or Turkey Stuffing & Cranberry Sauce Ice Cream that comes around every November, there’s bound to be something you like here.
And that’s it! There are plenty more restaurants to choose from if none of these strike your fancy — check out a full list of those restaurants right here. Stay tuned to DFB for more tips and updates as you plan your upcoming Disney World vacation!

The best food you will ever have is at Disney World parks and Disney Springs. I remember well from when I would go every year.
Mel says
I disagree with your list. I think there’s definitely more than 2 for Table Service and more than 2 sweets places that are exceptional.
Ty says
You’ve obviously never had the duck nachos at city works. Outside of homecoming it’s the best dish in all of the springs.
