It’s no secret that we love cheese. We’ve written about it A LOT.
There is certainly no shortage of cheese snacks in Disney World. We LIVE off corn dog nuggets with plastic cheese sauce. We love a good charcuterie plate with a variety of cheese. Cheesy bread is OUR JAM. So when we discovered that you could get foot-long mozzarella sticks in Disney World, YOU KNOW we had to check it out.
Okay, so a little background. It’s also no secret that Tony’s Town Square Restaurant in Magic Kingdom is not at the top of our “Best Restaurants” list in Disney World. But Tony’s sucked us back in with its Foot-Long Mozzarella Sticks. This is Fried Mozzarella with Spicy Creamy Tomato Sauce for $15.
Okay, we have to show this to you because LOOK at how these things are just OOZING cheese. That gooey cheese works so well with the fried, crispy outside of the sticks, too. But we’ve got a word of warning for you.
It’s the sauce. Okay, so it says “spicy” creamy tomato sauce. Well, it really IS spicy (and not just “Disney spicy”). As in, we were reaching for our water glass quickly after. However, we confirmed with a Cast Member that you can ask for the sauce or the side or ask for plain marinara sauce if you don’t like spicy foods or have kids who won’t like spicy sauce.
With that being said, this is a solid appetizer or snack, so there IS a reason to go to Tony’s Town Square right now. Although the garlic bread here is pretty solid, too, so let’s take a moment to talk about THAT while we’re here.
Over at Tony’s Town Square Restaurant we found FOOT LONG MOZZARELLA STICKS! Check out that gooey melty cheese pull 🫠🤤🧀 pic.twitter.com/gJjtFrA6OC

We’re gonna be honest. Tony’s Garlic Bread For The Table (toasted ciabatta with roasted garlic-butter and parmesan fonduta) was GREAT! In fact, we mighttttt like it better than the Fried Mozzarella. We loved that fondue. It’s garlicky and has a lot of warm parmesan in it. And the bread itself has a nice, crispy, toasted texture and is well-seasoned. You can’t go wrong with garlic bread, right? Try it for $13.
There’s also a new Tortellini al Forno, which is Calabrian chili and cheese tortellini with baked Italian sausage, onions, peppers, and mozzarella in a creamy tomato sauce. This one is $28, and look out! It’s a little on the spicy side.
So, are ya tempted to check this place out after all? We came for the fried cheese, but overall, our meal was pretty good! Stay tuned to DFB for more reviews.

This restaurant is expensive and the food isn’t as good as the Olive Garden. New Cheese sticks are not going to induce me to make a reservation.

But the garlic bread and cheese sauce is so good. The food portions are definitely shareable and filling, and we had leftovers to take back to our room.
However, I must admit I was a little skeptical about that gigantic mozzarella stick but was pleasantly surprised and enjoyed it greatly.
