At Disney World, new merchandise flies on and off the shop shelves like nobody’s business.
We find most of the merchandise adorable. Some of it doesn’t really appeal to us, but we could see why other folks might like it. And then SOME merchandise just absolutely terrifies us. Like… sometimes we start to wonder who at Disney approved some of these designs… Anyway, we found a souvenir like that this week, and if we had to see it, so do y’all.Â
Say hello to the Moana Tamatoa Ornament! It sure is something, and you can add it to your own Christmas tree if you’d like by heading over to Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe in Magic Kingdom.Â
For only $26.99, you can be terrified all winter long. Why is he staring at us like that?
OF course, the Mickey ears that feature Moana and Maui are a nice touch, but why couldn’t that same aspect of the design be put on like, a Moana-themed sphere? Why does the base of the ornament have to be the evil crab? Why did they make the evil crab’s face look extra evil?Â
Anyway, this find really made our trip into the Christmas Shoppe feel like The Nightmare Before Christmas. We absolutely did not buy this, but you totally could if you’re looking to make your tree extra frightening this year. To each their own!
We’ll continue to keep you updated with Disney news and scary merchandise, so make sure to follow along for more so that you never miss a thing and are always in the loop.
