There’s a NEW restaurant in Disney World!
There have been quite a few dining additions to Disney World in the past few years, and we’ve still got more to come. But the most recent addition is EET by Maneet Chauhan! This new Indian quick service spot is located in Disney Springs, and we stopped by on opening day to check it out. That’s right folks, it’s time for a FULL REVIEW!
Atmosphere
The first thing that you should know about EET is that it’s kind of tucked away. It’s located in The Marketplace section, right next to the 12 Days of Christmas store and the back entrance to Disney Springs. But that location certainly didn’t stop the crowds from showing up on opening day! There was a line outside of the store well before 11AM.
Once you head inside, there’s a wall of merchandise for the restaurant. You can peruse this while you wait to order your food.
Ordering takes place at a counter manned by employees. There’s a large menu board hanging above the registers so you can decide what you want, but they also handed out menus while I was waiting in line.
Once I placed my order, I was given a little marker to place on my table so they could bring my food to my seat. The service was great here!
There are two main dining rooms, as well as some outdoor tables.
I personally preferred the sunroom area — the sunlight was nice and bright, and there were fewer tables so it was a little quieter.
Back near the ordering counter, there’s also a self-serve drink station. They have Coke products here.
And you can partially see into the kitchen — how cool!
Now that you have the grand tour, let’s talk about the menu.
Menu
The menu has quite a few options, and they’ve got a little of something for every taste! In the Sharables section, you’ll find a bread service, a Tandoori Chicken Poutine (we were really excited about that!), D.I.Y. Pani Puri, a Walking Taco, and samosas.
If you love naan, then you need to check out their pizzas and breads section! You can choose from two pizzas or three types of naan.
Looking to dine on the lighter side? The menu is also home to three different salad options.
The build-your-own-bowl section is for those who like a bit of customization with their food. You get to choose your base, kebab, and sauce.
There are also several additions available.
For the little ones, there’s Naan Pizza, Sliders, and Chicken Fingers.
And of course, we have to mention dessert! They have a Gulab Juman Cheesecake and a Chocolate & Strawberry Naan.
For beverages, choose from a few different alcoholic options, as well as a selection of yogurt lassis.
So what all did I order? Brace yourself, it’s a LOT of food.
Eats
I got a full spread with a variety of eats and drinks. I wanted to really get the taste for the new place! Let’s dive in to the full list.
Let’s start out with the sharables. You know that we love a good bread service here at DFB, so when I saw the EET Bread Service with Pimento Whipped Paneer on the menu, I knew I’d have to try it! It comes with buttered naan, garlic naan, pimento whipped paneer cheese, masala vegetable sticks, Indian pickle, coriander honey, and various chutneys.
The naan was buttery and the garlic piece had a rich garlic flavor — both absolutely delicious. But what about the various dips?
First I tried the coriander honey, which was very sweet with a nice herbiness underneath. This was one of my favorites!
The green chutney was earthy and fresh. There was a tiny bit of spice, and a hint of brightness, similar to lime.
The next dip was red and more unique in texture — rather hard to scoop. This one was pepper-forward and warm and rich in taste. It wasn’t really spicy, though.
The next chutney was much runnier in consistency. It was sweet and earthy and reminded me of the flavors in butter chicken.
The final chutney was jelly-like and very sticky. This one was also pretty earthy, but very robust — I wasn’t expecting it based on the look alone.
But that wasn’t all! There’s also a pimento whipped paneer that comes with the bread service. I was hoping for a pimento cheese-like flavor here, but it was much lighter and more delicate. There wasn’t much cheese flavor at all, but it was fairly creamy.
The full bread service is $18, which in my personal opinion, is a bit on the pricey side…especially since you only get two pieces of naan. It was really delicious overall though, and I would recommend it to bread service fanatics!
But the bread service wasn’t the only starter I got! I also picked up the highly-anticipated Tandoori Chicken Poutine for $14. It’s made with chaat masala fries, tandoori chicken, white cheddar curds, and rich tomato butter sauce.
The fries were fresh and well-seasoned, and there was a nice brightness from the sauce. It’s wonderfully savory and very cheesy. The portion size is great with lots of chicken and I honestly wanted to eat the whole thing before I even tried any of the other items. This was probably the best thing I ate at EET!
Another item you’ll find on the sharables menu is the D.I.Y. Pani Puri. It’s $12 and comes with crispy semolina puffs, black garbanzo beans, potatoes, tamarind, date chutney, and mint cilantro water.
You assemble these yourself by stuffing the chutney inside the puffs and then pouring a few drops of the water on top. It was fairly spicy, but there’s a really great mix of textures here with crunchy, soft, and chewy. It’s very bright.
While I was dining, one of the restaurant’s supervisors came over and told me the backstory behind this dish — it’s one of Maneet’s favorites!
The last savory item I needed to try was the Spicy Green Chili Naan. It’s $6 and topped with green chilies, cilantro, and clarified butter. Warning — this is ACTUALLY spicy.
The chili tends to fall more towards the center of the naan so it gets hotter as you eat inward. It’s a slow, strong heat. But the naan itself is soft and chewy — just the way it’s meant to be!
Moving on to sweet treats, I grabbed BOTH of the desserts on the menu. The Chocolate & Strawberry Naan is $8 and topped with chocolate sauce, strawberry sauce, white chocolate, diced strawberries, and fresh mint.
It looks basically like a dessert pizza when it comes out. Of all the items I tried that day, this was my least favorite. It’s essentially topped with a boatload of syrup, which makes it really messy to eat and doesn’t give the most sophisticated flavors possible. I really enjoyed the fresh strawberries and the mint added a nice brightness, but I think this would be better executed if it were topped with a chocolate spread and strawberry jam instead of sauces.
However, the Gulab Jamun Cheesecake is a MUST! It’s a $9 NY-style cheesecake, made with gulab jamun, strawberries, saffron, and cardamon.
It was SO creamy and deliciously cheesy in all the right ways. The fruit on top was almost candied and had a nice chewy sweetness. The sauce that topped it all was fruity and made a great complement to the cake. If the poutine wins the meal, this was a close #2.
But I didn’t go through the whole meal without beverages! I also picked up two drinks. First, let’s talk about the Mango Yogurt Lassi. It’s $5 and comes served in a little bottle.
This basically tasted like I was drinking mango yogurt, and I certainly wasn’t mad about it. It was lightly sweetened, and great for cooling your mouth after you’ve eaten something spicy. Very creamy!
The other drink was a holiday season special — the Yule Chai Greeting. It’s made with EET signature spiced chai, whipped cinnamon cream, toasted marshmallow, holiday sprinkles, and topped with a candy cane.
The chai flavor wasn’t incredibly strong in this drink, and that was exacerbated by the ice melting. If you want a strong chai this might not be for you, but if the flavor is a bit overwhelming, you could probably handle this. I didn’t get much of the cinnamon cream or toasted marshmallow, but it was a nice drink nonetheless.
So how does EET stack up?
Overall
In the end, I had a really good experience at this restaurant. I had positive commentary on almost everything I ate, and the wide variety on the menu would be great for even those who aren’t huge fans of Indian food. Some of the items are really inventive and fun (the poutine and cheesecake in particular!), and I think it’s a great stop for a quick meal in Disney Springs.
If you asked me about the must-get items, I would recommend the poutine and the cheesecake, as well as the bread service (if there’s room in the budget). The portions on all these dishes were pretty decent, so you get some good value for your buck.
Nosh or Not?
Enjoy some fast-casual Indian cuisine if…
- You’re a big fan of Indian food. There aren’t too many places to get Indian cuisine in Disney World, so if it’s one of your favorites, this is a great place to start.
- You want to try something unique in Disney Springs. If you’re already in the area and you’re tired of basic American fare, this is a place I would highly recommend! It’s definitely not your typical burger or chicken place.
- You’re staying at Saratoga Springs or coming in the back entrance. If you’re staying at Saratoga Springs or riding the boats down the Sassagoula to get to Disney Springs, this restaurant will be right next to your entrance!
Skip out on this new spot if…
- You’re not trying to do the full tour of Disney Springs. If you’re coming to the shopping and dining complex by bus or via parking garage, this is a bit of a hike away from the main entrances. If you’re not planning on walking all the way to the back, you might want to choose a closer restaurant.
- You don’t like any Indian food or related flavors. While EET offers a wide variety of options, it still might not be for you if you’re strongly opposed to Indian flavors.
- You’re hoping for a thorough dining experience. EET is a pretty basic counter service experience. If you would like to have a long sit-down meal, this probably isn’t the right place.
That’s a wrap on my first-ever visit to EET! If you’re heading there soon, we’d love to hear your thoughts. In the meantime, stay tuned to DFB for the latest dining reviews and Disney World news.

Is EET in the same building where Wolfgang Puck’s place used to be? And gosh, do we miss that place!
