Attention, Disney World Annual Passholders! A BIG ticket change is coming SOON, and it’ll probably affect your next trip to the parks!
Disney previously announced that “Good-To-Go” days were coming for Annual Passholders and Cast Members. These are days when Passholders and Cast Members will NOT have to make a Park Pass Reservation to enter the theme parks. Now, we know when those “Good-To-Go” days will be released!
Good-To-Go Days will be visible in the Annual Passholder calendar starting on January 11th, 2024. They will also be visible for Cast Members in their calendar starting on that day.
On these days, Annual Passholders and Cast Members can visit ANY of the four Disney World theme parks without a Park Pass Reservation.
Note that Annual Passholders and Cast Members still need to make Park Pass Reservations on most days, even after park passes disappear for date-based tickets on January 9th, 2024. The Good-To-Go days are an exception to this rule.
You can view the Good-To-Go Days on the Theme Park Reservation calendar, the Annual Passholder admissions calendar, and the Disney World app.
Disney announced that more Good-To-Go Days will be added periodically. The dates could be released days or weeks at a time, so you’ll want to check those calendars frequently in case new ones pop up.
Keep in mind that blockout days will still apply for Annual Passholders and Cast Members.
Annual Passholders and Cast Members will still need park passes on days that are not “Good-To-Go,” but don’t forget that all-day Park Hopping is returning on January 9th! As long as Annual Passholders have a Park Pass Reservation and enter that park first, they can hop over to any other park at any time of day (provided it’s during park hours, of course) starting on the 9th. So if you’re not able to get the park pass you want, just get one for a different park, enter that park, and then immediately hop to the one you wanted originally.
Annual Passholders can also visit any theme park after 2PM without a Park Pass Reservation, although Magic Kingdom is excluded from this rule on Saturdays and Sundays.
So, to sum up, Annual Passholders WILL need a Park Pass Reservation to visit Disney World parks EXCEPT in these situations:
- Good-To-Go Days
- Any day after 2PM, excluding Magic Kingdom on Saturdays and Sundays
- (Starting January 9th) You have a Park Pass and have entered that park — at this point, you can hop to any other park at any time of day.
If you’re not sure whether you need a Park Pass Reservation or not, you can visit Disney World’s website to see all the requirements.

All of this plus the virtual queue change make being a passholder a problem instead of a benefit. Might finally be the thing that causes me to not renew my Incredipass.
Kirsten says
What if we are annual pass but, we have a hotel reservation? Do we still need a park reservation?
DFB Gigi says
Hi Kirsten! It’s my understanding that the need not to make reservations are tied to date-based tickets, not the resort itself, so you would still need to make sure you have a reservation.
Barbara says
Once again annual pass holders get the short end of the stick. Glad we are paying all this money to be penalized by having to make park reservations. How fair is that!
Charles E Sullivan says
It is not your money they care about. Soon enough it will be your vote.

This whole concept is a JOKE ! It did not exist pre COVID farce and it definitely worked for decades. A magnet doesn’t cut it as a PERK you can not put them all over your car! Quit catering to the RESORT TOURISTS. pay more attention to your loyal ANNUAL PASSHOLDERS who commit year after year. If we are not A RESORT BOOKED TOURIST OR DVC member we are second class visitors.
Judy Perkins says
They tried to dump passholders a few years back by including Memory Maker to the top tier passes but raising the prices out of sight. It worked! But they lost more than they expected so they started all sorts of side hustles to make up for it-renting an A/C rent for a day in MK; taxi service to your hotel from inside the parks, hotel concierge level perks at extra cost …..PS. Memory Maker is not included with AP any longer.

This is Disney’s plan. Make owning an annual pass such a pain that no-one will purchase it . Their general attitude is turning off many loyal Disney fans. I discovered my family can enjoy vacations in lots of other places without the need for a Mickey fix. We have finally gotten over Disney. Disney is ruining its brand. Look at its stock price. Done with Disney.
