Disney’s newest land has officially opened!
Shanghai Disney Resort opened the new Zootopia land to guests on December 20th, 2023, and we’re having serious FOMO about it all! There’s a new attraction called Zootopia: Hot Pursuit, which features a trackless ride system and some interesting Imagineering technology. There are some wild new treats, a “one-of-a-kind atmosphere show,” a merchandise location, and more. But, the coolest thing about Disney’s New Zootopia land might be…the bathrooms?
Zootopia land has officially opened at Shanghai Disney Resort! It’s the only land of its kind in the world and there are so many incredible things to experience — but we think the bathrooms might just be the best part!
The tile and colors were made from materials of the Rainforest District that feature a similar palette, but you might notice that the bathrooms were made for animals of all sizes — from big and small to climbing and flying!
Not only that, but you might even hear animals in adjacent stalls!
We weren’t kidding when we said this land was made for animals of all shapes and sizes…check out that tiny little door!
And, if you look closely, you’ll find different-sized benches for whoever might need to take a seat. Look at those tiny little cars parked beneath the bench!! Get out!!
Head over to the Grand Pangolin Arms Apartments, which is home to many Zootopia residents — including wolves — and you just might hear some howling! You might have to stop by and say “Howl-o” or ask them “Howl ya doing today” and wait for what you could hear!
Over at the Jaguar Comedy Club, you can hear laughing hyenas heckling a sloth stand-up comedy act. Listen to beavers getting their teeth cleaned at the dentist, and even hear bubbling mud as rhinos have a spa day at Rhino Mud Baths.
And, of course — you can’t forget about all of those eats! Grab the famous Zootopia Pawpsicle and more!
