We said goodbye to Sosa Family Cigars, the Ugg Store, Melissa Clube, and more, and it looks like another retail location will be shuttering for good in the near future, too. Hopefully, this just means something new and exciting is on the way — but here’s everything you need to know about this closure.
The Art of Shaving store at Disney Springs is permanently closing on January 2nd, 2024, we confirmed with an employee. The store was located in The Landing, near STK and Sanuk, for almost ten years.

Disney has not made any sort of announcements as to why the store is closing or what might be taking its place, but we are looking forward to something new and exciting.

Disney Springs has seen quite a few changes over the past year, with multiple store closures and relocations happening in 2023. Not only that, but we welcomed the new EET by Maneet Chauhan quick service restaurant and Summer House on the Lake — which even features a dessert shop called The Cookie Jar!

Enough with the stores. Hopefully, the new businesses will include family entertainment. Restaurants with character dining, a Hawaiian restaurant with luau and a show, an Italian restaurant with opera music sing alongs, or a Johnny Rockets (if they are around any more). Also, a comedy club would be great. During the day have young family entertainment and at night adult comedy.
Love the comments by Joyce! These items would be excellent for not only Disney World Resort guest but for the public as well. Disney offerings in this area would be so great. Especially, the shows/dinner as they are trending to removing them from the resorts and building too many DVC units. Disney are you listening!

I always shopped and purchased items at the Art of Shaving. With that said another restaurant, bar or entertainment center would be welcomed as opposed to another store.
Sounds like rates are going up and some other stores may want the space.
