Festival Food Booths

The 2024 DCA Food and Wine Festival featured 10 Festival Marketplaces, along with additional kiosk locations, and Downtown Disney spots, too. One new booth joined the lineup in 2024 — Earth Eats!

These booths, similar to what you find at the EPCOT Food and Wine Festival, offer appetizer-sized portions of dishes as well as cocktails, beer, and wine.

Additional dining locations in the park also serve specialty food and drinks items throughout the event.

Even select restaurants in the Downtown Disney District often present specialty menu items as part of the event!

Dishes include plant-based, allergy-friendly, gluten-friendly and kid-friendly items.

And guests can stir things up at Cocktails at Sonoma Terrace hosted by CORKCICLE® with an expanded menu featuring mixed drinks, craft brews, and a few bites available for purchase!

The Paradise Beer Garden also serves craft beers by the glass.

2024 Disney California Adventure Food and Wine Festival Special Events

From signature dinners to celebrity chef appearances, there are often lots of special, separately ticketed Special Events to make your visit to the DCA Food and Wine Festival something extra special. In 2024, the epicurean encounters once again included Carthay Circle Winemaker Receptions, Trader Sam’s Mixology Seminars and Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa Food and Wine Experience. A new event — A Gastronomic Journey at Napa Rose — made its debut in 2024!

We’ll post the full schedule of special events for 2025 with pricing and ticket information at our Disney California Adventure Food and Wine Festival Special Events page when they are announced!

Disney Chefs and Visiting Chefs

Local, visiting, and Disney chefs share their knowledge at the Festival! For instance, you’ll find a COMPLETE LIST of the presentations at the 2024 Culinary Demonstrations here as we await the 2025 presentations.

Low-Cost Culinary Demonstrations and Wine and Beverage Seminars

Receive step-by-step instructions for a recipe, technique, or working with a specific ingredient from the pros! Local, visiting, and Disneyland Resort chefs present these 45-minute lessons, and guests are able to sample the completed creations. We’ll post the full schedule of special events for 2025 when they are announced! In the meantime, you can visit our 2024 Low-Cost Seminar and Demonstrations Page to get an idea of what might be available in 2025.

Family-Friendly Presentations and Character Entertainment

If you have a little pastry-chef-in-the-making (ages 3 – 11), you may want to check out Confection Purrfection with the Super Kitties (inspired by Disney Junior’s animated series Super Kitties)!

In 2024, this cupcake decorating experience was held at:

• Monday to Friday at 1:30 PM, 2:30 PM, 4:00 PM and 5:00 PM; Saturday and Sunday at 1:30 and 2:30 PM
• Location: Hollywood Backlot Stage, Hollywood Land

Space is limited: guests may sign up 45 minutes before each showtime.

And what’s a Food and Wine Festival without Chef Goofy?? He returns for the foodie fun!

He often appears at the Hollywood Backlot, so you can say HI! You can also confirm appearance times on the Disneyland App.

Festival Entertainment

Be sure to keep an eye — and ear! — out for special Festival entertainment such as live music at Palisades Stage and the Paradise Gardens Bandstand.

Sip and Savor Pass 

The Sip and Savor Pass is a souvenir credential which includes credits which are eligible one food item or non-alcoholic beverage per credit at the Festival Marketplaces.

In 2024, Sip and Savor passes went digital! Guests can simply purchase a Sip & Savor pass, which comes complete with a barcode and a 4-digit code on the back. The barcode will be scanned whenever you purchase an eligible item, then you enter the 4-digit code.  Your receipt will reflect the number of credits you have remaining.

There were TWO options for Sip and Savor passes in 2024 (Stay tuned for 2025 pricing and information):

A Sip and Savor Pass was available with eight item credits for $61.00. Magic Key holders could present their valid pass and a photo ID to get a discounted price of $56.00). 

Additionally, a NEW Sip and Savor option was available with four item credits for $31.00. (No discounts were available for this half Sip and Savor Pass.)

In addition to the Festival Marketplace Booths, Sip & Savor Passes can typically be used for tasting-sized portions of Festival items at the following dining locations:
